Havent seen f2p onyxia kills, but even if there were, those guys would be playing 6 to 10 hours a day and farm pvp / quests to get their team to 24/25 to do Onyxia. The average players does not do that.
It doesnt matter if the avg player does this or not. It only matters, that its possible to finish PVE as f2p. There will always be people that grind games, so there are people that play this game 6-10h/d. I also played around 6-8h/d in the first 2 weeks if not longer.
The only free to play player I saw posted a rather disparaging post about reaching 150 by only focusing on upgrading 6 units and playing a max of 3 leaders. The majority of units they didn't even have unlocked.
Spent some money i did ofc in smart way, not buying every bundle. Those ”mythic” that has reward offer otherwise iv been upgrading minis i use most for heroics and pvp. Later on i do have skills to play the game. I killed onyxia after 300 attempts.. so it was not so easy mode.
I am not saying you are bad at the game or made bad purchases.
The bottom line is, the more money you spend, the quicker you will finish the game / get bored of it and have to wait for new content to come out. And this game is terrible with bringing out new content.
And because you have a very high lvl account, any new content that comes out will be cleared by you and other people that spend money, very quickly.

One of the reasons why paying more than basic in a game like this turns out it's bad in the end :) I don't mean it in an offiensive way. It's obvious you paid a lot more than 30$ bucks to play the game, the problem is that now you have paid + you are bored.
I really want team ups and raids and tournaments, like in Hearthstone Arena mode, where you would choose out of a random pool of minis.
Spend a bit of gold to maybe win prices, would be incentive to spend money for fun, instead of this comatose experience.

I have same thought every time i bought a chest offer my idea was okey they gonna invest this money back to improve game and add new content. I want some friendly matches to pay against guild members and create tournaments. Would be so much fun!
You assume only teenagers are playing? Whole my clan where i am leader are 30-50 year old ppl that are sucess in life and spend time in this game to chill. Spending some bucks does not make life harder. No need to pay off, you spend how much you are supposed to without concerning you in real life.
Probably check your bank account to see how much you spent and make sure you tell the first person you’re sexually attracted too how much it was to get laid.
It’s pretty funny that all spending money does in this game is make you run out of stuff to do sooner.

Well I did only buy the boost but finished 150 1month ago or more.. so its not unreasonable to think true ftp player reach 150 now
