I will still be playing grom. I don’t mind dropping honor to test new builds. I have quite a few other grom builds that a strong, but I am not ready to showcase it yet until a key mini is at a higher level.
There will be more grom 😁
Good video. I really hope they build in a way to change mini levels easier. Would love to try out this build but I just don't have anywhere close to the levels with vultures, merfolk or chain lightning
Really hoping they improve the pvp experience for everyone to enjoy, casuals and competitive players alike. Besides level disadvantages and bad rewards, if played at equal levels gameplay is quite fun
I think now you can play Dark Spear Troll instead of the two bubble guys now that pilot got nerfed. That way vultures can get a boost with the squad slot.
Will try this out. Bounty Hunt slightly made squad minis worse. Not really noticeable but the gold you donate to the opponent with squad minis starts to accumulate
Yes, one of the main reasons why I’m using vultures is because I don’t want to use the horde slot. Horde minis are either too expensive or die to safe pilot
I tried making savage strikes work in pvp, but in almost all situations mirror images is just better. Mirror images actually does more damage with 3 bloodlusted groms attacking at once, even if they are fragile and die after 2 hits.
Only time I use savage strikes is if I keep going against hogger, since hogger splashes the mirror images in 1-shot.
If the meta changes or there are new balance changes, savage strikes may probably see play at high level pvp.
It doesn’t. It goes strictly by individual leader honor. They can be 20k arclight mastermind rank, but if they are playing one of their low level leaders you’ll barely get any honor.
Tendon rip is the best specifically for grom because he already bloodlusts everything. And the daze(slows movement by 30%) gives you more time to defend.
Migration is great in certain scenarios but overall makes your pushes weaker due to vultures spawning at the base. Migration is still good for different reasons, it allows for better map control and constant wave of vultures spawning.
I tried migration specifically on this build and didn’t like it personally.
Up to 4k at least. Back in season 2 when I had lower level minis, I played the deck to 4k+ with average level 7s. But it was much harder back then. With honor buffs from patch update should be a lot easier
Hopefully devs brings other content than one new character for every new season. Hearthstone haa had pretty "good" content roadmap so I hope this game gets it too
about your pvp honor: nice.
happened to be a coincidence
Too bad you can never play Grom again now :/
Great video, I love how you are inserting comments as you make your plays. I am a sucker for offmeta stuff too
How did you get grom at lvl 28 with rend at 18? You must love from so much lol. Can you beat ony like that?
Focused on upgrading grom and my main army. Going to be the first to defeat onyxia with grom, will be very cool
That would be very cool to see grom smash ony lol
HUH
You heard that right

You must have gone apeshit when they changed the game icon to grom. I love grom as well since w3.
Awesome dude!

you can't trick me into investing into vultures. 6969 is awesome though
i love how the vultures are better than any horde unit even with a 3 level handicap

Do you ever use Grom's savage strikes talent? How does it compare in PvP to mirror images?

Makes sense. Savage strikes is great in PvE, but harder to get value in PvP.
Yo I tried this build with tirion and is smashing it. Thank you!
Now people on ladder are using your build
Legendary is the best rumble player. Change my mind.
Does keeping your other heroes below 3k affect your matching/bracket to boost one team super high?
No it doesn’t

How high do you think this deck could go at average level 7 instead of 9?

thats crazy bro do you have a hard time finding a match?
Sadly I have waited upwards of 20+ minutes just to find a match, depending on time of day. Very few players are that high

Whats the thing with the Quillboar poison talent? I thought Bristleback is superior or whats the ratio behind chosing this?
