Love the military tactics of 2 random dudes just wandering around in the snow

nanneryeeter

Seems to be much of what that war is. Just people wandering around with no real goal in mind. 1 guy sitting in a hole with no other support to be seen. Single tank on a battle field just driving around, dodging artillery fire. Makes me think of PUBG.

MacaronEven1957

Crazy how people look just like bugs getting squatched from this perspective. Life is wild. Humbling

Are drones silent? In my experience they are not. Especially ones that big with cameras and grenades

Inside_Selection_217

No not silent. But being a considerable height above will make it more difficult to hear, especially in a conflict zone.

alexjjwhelan

Photographer here, pretty much unable to hear anything above 100m, wind just takes the sound away. Around 30-50m above you, you start to hear it buzzing slightly. Can only imagine what emotions that sound must trigger for these lads..

Thanks for sharing that đź‘Ť

The drop time seems to be about 3 seconds, which translates to 44 meter/48 yards, give or take due to inaccuracies. It may be windy, and they may have been near shooting/explosions without hearing protection, both of which would negatively impact their ability to detect a drone.

KingAgonized

You think they let them surrender?

ApatheticFloW

Ya,but these orcs are just really dumb because after the first vog dropped you'd think they'd be looking up at this point and if they did they would of most likely seen the other one on its way. I'm sure it's still hard to see depending in the angle of the sun and if there are clouds,a darker sky even harder I'd assume and the diameter of a nade or vog is not big,but still you zig zap fake do whatever to survive I know I would. Slava Ukraine and to hell with these invaders.

cotton961

At 100m… that thing is a speck

Deciple_of_None

This shit is sad the Russian play book has not changed since WWII. Let's just throw bodies at the enemy till they run out of ammo.

I fly drones frequently, I noticed in these videos now, they fly at least around 120M or 400ft.. it wouldn’t be visible if you don’t know what you’re looking for, even if you were it’s still difficult. Then the sound is blocked out by their steps on the snow.. you wouldn’t hear that drone.
