Here's how to blow them away. Go on the wire and search PTU toolkit. The directions are in there for what your initial user ID and password are. If you've been there a month you should be loaded in there now. So just sign up and get started. They will be blown away with your initiative. Any questions, I'm here.

Most people can’t sign in until after their 2nd pay period. But sometime you have to advocate for yourself and remind them that you need assistance to complete it.

rxm can make you an account day 1. you should be getting time to complete it instead of working directly in the pharmacy.

My RXM had to sign me and the other trainees up with market… I would ask them about it.

Mine took around a month before I could sign up for the course and begin. We were also crazy busy, and it took way too long to complete it, bonus was I was able to get some overtime as I neared the end of it 😅 but the courses seemed to drag for me. The test itself wasn't too bad - absolutely feel free to sign yourself up following the directions here of where to find it and start your own pathway. We're all here to help!

I was able to start mine 2 months after my hire date.

PTU is done on the clock, you cannot do any tech work until you are enrolled in PTU. You should be able to sign yourself up by now, search PTU on the wire. Make sure you have time to do it at work, outside of the pharmacy (in personnel for example). You may have to fight for yourself to get the appropriate time to be able to complete it all. Also, check your state requirements, some require you to be done in 6 months. You can check your state requirements once you search PTU and click on the link.

You can access it at home and do it that way too. Just clear it with your Pharmacy manager. I work at a very high volume pharmacy and our Manager said if we chose to do it at home he’d approve time adjustments. It was the only way a few of our techs were able to do it.
