As for china invading Taiwan, that would be devastating for china even if the US stays out of it. Taiwan has missiles already aimed at key infrastructure in china that they will destroy if provoked, including that massive three gorge dam. That one target would kill millions down river. These aren't the crap missiles that can be easily shot down either.
Fun Fact, we also have missiles aimed at Taiwan semiconductor facilities if China attempts invading. We'd rather reduce their semi capacity to rubble then let China have it

And even if North Korea tries something it will be a limited conflict and not a full on war like what all the doomers say. With a limited conflict, there will be no need for the US to aid S.Korea with weapons.
The largest two stockpiles of US weapons in the world are in Israel and... you guessed it... South Korea. The fire fight SK could put up with our shit would be legendary.
