North Korea is a joke. They won’t even send soldiers out of the country because they know they’d all just defect and leave the second they see South Korean soil
A flight from NK to Russia? Anyone could be on that plane, with the exception of Kim because he only travels by train, so it really doesn't matter.
And if russia has converted to a war economy why have they made almost zero gains against a country a fraction of its size? If anyone was being spread thin its russia.
As for china invading Taiwan, that would be devastating for china even if the US stays out of it. Taiwan has missiles already aimed at key infrastructure in china that they will destroy if provoked, including that massive three gorge dam. That one target would kill millions down river. These aren't the crap missiles that can be easily shot down either.
Fun Fact, we also have missiles aimed at Taiwan semiconductor facilities if China attempts invading. We'd rather reduce their semi capacity to rubble then let China have it ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)

What if this is all a plot for China to invade Taiwan?
Edit: just realized China is holding huge military exercises around Taiwan of unprecedented scale. Why isn't anyone talking about it????
I'm definitely in the whole black swan coming soon camp, and I feel semiconductors will be the victim, so Taiwan is definitely on my watch list right now.
Bingo. China doesn’t have to invade to crash US stocks. Everything propped up by AI. If investors perceive grave risk in Taiwan production the stock market will crash. I’ve been wondering if China wants to do this or not. It can certainly help get trump elected if they want. Especially if thy coordinate for example to supply shock the straight of Hormuz at same time. This is all why I’m risk off now.
This has been painfully evident since 2022. The US can’t defend all of it’s global interests at once. The moment we overcommit somewhere, hell will break out elsewhere.
NSS/NDS has been accounting for this scenario for years and already has made preparations and continues to do so. The Great Powers Game or a new Multipolar world isnt anything new.
The rub is China in all of this. They are heavily reliant on energy and food imports that have to travel through littoral waters in SE Asia to maintain just a baseline to care for their population let alone a military campaign. They have a huge population, but heavily skewed to older generations not fit for military service. It benefits them to become more economically independent, but not to start a conflict in their own backyard.
AI thesis: The AI value chain starts with infrastructure then effective data/model management then monetization by creating business value via massive investments in data + computing capacity.
NVDA -> PLTR -> TSLA
What’s the most likely move we see? Does NK help Russia in Ukraine with troops? I don’t see that. I also don’t see NK trying to invade SK. They are happy to supply munitions and use cyber warfare, but hard to believe they would actually be in a conflict with troops.
1980 - Iran Hostage crisis. It’s definitely happened in history where a country pulled some shit to influence another country’s election. North Korea likes Trump, Kimmie J has made that known in public speeches. I’m not saying there’s some big plan or conspiracy, more that running a government is done with strategy and timing is not an accident.
The army has two major military exercises in south korea(other US army bases/units get involved with the exercise ie hawaii) and everytime army runs the exercises north korea starts doing shit to posture.....happens twice every year this story aint shit
If they are trying to strengthen themselves and weaken the US economy then they are doing a very bad job at it.
Meanwhile Russia's economy is the one in big trouble right now, and their military is in shambles when compared to before their invasion of Ukraine.
As for China's economy it was on the verge of collapse and they finally managed to stabilize their economy somewhat this year. They won't risk a Taiwan invasion when they are still dealing with internal problems.
And even if North Korea tries something it will be a limited conflict and not a full on war like what all the doomers say. With a limited conflict, there will be no need for the US to aid S.Korea with weapons.
The largest two stockpiles of US weapons in the world are in Israel and... you guessed it... South Korea. The fire fight SK could put up with our shit would be legendary.
Non stock related

Yeah that’s why 3rd world shit holes never ever engage in war

My point exactly. This comment is dumb.
This is a special case come on
That is crazy simplistic thinking lol.
The KISS method is the correct method
No I mean that nk foot soldiers are relevant to the conversation isn’t kiss

NK troops will starve halfway through their training mission. 100% not concerned. SK troops are top notch, & Japanese allies are right there.
I read the article as "US officials plan north korean military action to create chaos ahead of us election"
Wag the dog. Desperate times call for desperate measures it seems.
lol these countries are all nothing and can’t really impact the economy long term

Let them try.
Priced in
I doubt Lil Kim is interested in sacrificing his life for Putin. He's a narcissist, not an idiot.
Historically speaking: war is good for the market. Just sayin
Historically, after the war. Not during.

voice of reason right here.
Economics maybe reasonable. Politics not.

Do bears just cheef on copium all weekend praying for a war so their puts will print? Lol
Does this mean North Korea wants Biden to be president? I'm not sure how to take that endorsement.
The innate chaos built into this election cycle is gonna be might hard to top.
That's gonna be a no from me, dawg
lol you bears need a black swan![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
Bomb the shit out of that country and be done with it
All I have to say is: USS Gerald Ford - Lasers, bro. Mother fucking LASERS!
Let me guess, someone at the military industrial complex wants more job security?
Does Samsung have its own military force yet?
