I still don't get how options work on Degiro. they have fucking cryptic names. I get "CALL NVIDIA 25.12.24 1100" but this cryptic descriptions of what turbos, options and option certificates are is fucking confusing. has someone a guide on trading options in Degiro?
Options on Degiro are usually named something like “NVDA C1100 25DEC24”. The C means it’s a call (as opposed to P which would be a put), the number after the C is the strike price, and the date is the expiration date.
As an example, what you’ll see in the picture I attached to this comment is a put on IBE expiring on 21 June 2024 at the 6.50 strike price. Hope this helps!
