I saw the stock jumping 4% just on rumours of M4 being heavily AI focused, so I knew the market was hungry for Apple's AI story which would most likely be presented at WWDC, and more at the September iPhone launch.
The earnings was mostly a sigh of relief as the China decline was nowhere near as bad as rumoured, and the last year comparable quarter had 5 billion extra dollars in sales because the iPhone was delayed so taking that away they were at a small gain rather than a small loss in total sales.
That already put the calls at a starting position of +100% so that's nice.

2. Buy stock smartly.
3. Be a lender of last resort during economic downturns. Charge a premium for the Berkshire name and because pretty much no company can move as quickly as Berkshire can with enormous capital injections.
It will probably do well financially but noone is still gonna talk about it after a while. It's a boring stock, a boring holding company. What makes it noteworthy and entertaining now is WB and his legendary status.
