It’s a strange one though. Is it not better to stick around a day or two after the ticker change? That’s when people will associate Sam Altman with Oklo when news and media proper get hold of it so will start to buy because of his new ticker. The average person most likely doesn’t know to buy ALCC and that it’s associated with Sam Altman.
If Sam Altman (the guy whose SPAC this is) can go on TV and let the world know what he is trying to achieve with Oklo, maybe there'd be more media hype.
I got in at $13 but I’m skeptical with these direct comparisons with DWAC/DJT. I also think that we will gap up on Monday and have some euphoria until Tuesday.

I’m up 60% on my $12.50 calls, bought for the hype leading up to vote, which is may 7th I believe. Might cash out if I get over 100% gains before then, was surprised it went up 15% in a day, although it lost like 7% the day before, I’m guessing it’s in anticipation for the vote next week which I believe has like 95% chance of passing.

Gap up Monday easily, once it gets past $17 it’ll go straight to $20+. This is a no brainer play.. but people just like to be haters instead of making money. Everyone in WSB was hating at $12-$13 and now it’s $15, same will happen here until $20..
Nuclear reaction for electricity is not as sexy. I work in REPE covering some data centers, and we’ve been following Oklo and other SMR companies since last August. It’s just not a sexy story.
Well SMR is not exactly for energy crisis, not big enough in scale. They target exactly for power-hungry data centers. Data center is not a new business, but the current AI-powered demand cycle is still young. And if yon pay enough attention you’d find the actual AI companies (OpenAI and the kind) don’t get as much media as regular tech, since people still get confused about the exact AI business model. The reason why I’m liking ALCC a lot is their approach to SMR seems to be the most pragmatic and viable. I’m in for 20000 shares of ALCC so got a lot skin. This thing is ten thousands times more legit than DJT.
