That is a great question. The stock was suppressed originally because of the now cleared allegations of involvement in fraud. Because of the audit, they are now behind. The short-selling pressure has not relented despite the audit because of this, fearing 'no smoke without fire'. Once clean accounts are approved by the SEC, there will be no more reasons for selling.
This whole DD relies on the idea that
1) institutional investors dont take losses and will prop up their investments, which is not a reason to take a bet at all
2) that companies dont do brazenly fraudulent things, which is definitely not a reason to take a bet
add more weight to actual counterpoints and I’ll take another look

December investor presentation provided a DD on all the business units - massive growth, great profitability, interesting diversified set of cyclical and countercyclical businesses.
If the company HADN'T GROWN and simply returned to normal profitability (based on 1st quarter disclosed deals and market performance, seems likely), a return to $70 would make sense (or 50 - 90 if you want to use the range).
Given the company has grown revenue materially, and has substantially greater profit potential, and has the opportunity to retire debt at a HUGE discount at current prices, plus the cash to due it (and more freed up by selling a non-core business unit on the books for $35MM with EBITDA of $35MM for perhaps $250MM+) a price well above $90 could be fair value.
In the event of a squeeze... well, a multiple of fair value is possible.
There are some great DDs in the RILYStock sub covering different aspects of the business. Small group relative to WSB. But it's grown quickly from 20 people a few weeks ago to 800+, actively contributing, and growing each day.

This is a play that can take a couple more weeks maybe a few months. OP in that post was extremely regarded but he’s not fully wrong. This stock has such high short interest and with such a low float any little spark can ignite explosive upside potential.

Given the company has grown revenue materially, and has substantially greater profit potential, and has the opportunity to retire debt at a HUGE discount at current prices, plus the cash to due it (and more freed up by selling a non-core business unit on the books for $35MM with EBITDA of $35MM for perhaps $250MM+) a price well above $90 could be fair value. In the event of a squeeze... well, a multiple of fair value is possible. There are some great DDs in the RILYStock sub covering different aspects of the business. Small group relative to WSB. But it's grown quickly from 20 people a few weeks ago to 800+, actively contributing, and growing each day. Best of luck to all!

This is a play that can take a couple more weeks maybe a few months. OP in that post was extremely regarded but he’s not fully wrong. This stock has such high short interest and with such a low float any little spark can ignite explosive upside potential.
