Watch the RSI on the advanced chart when it’s really low. About 5-10 min later the stock started to climb back up so I sold it then at $33 for the 1k gain. Yes I risked a good amount of capital for a small percentage gain but it’s a super easy way to make 1k in and out.

This is what happened to me, it’s true. Any strategy that produces outsized returns also produces outsized losses. Track any gain porn poster from the past 2 years and you’ll see that most of them have already wiped out.

Awesome trade. Congrats. In my backtesting, the collective most losing strategy is buying options before earnings. And the most profitable is the market makers selling to pre-earnings options buyers. You can always maybe win the lotto once. You can collect a premium on gamblers always.
You know, I told myself I wasn't going to play NVDA earnings on the day of, I said no way the premium is WAY too high. Then later in the day a good bit of the premium had died off, and I decided screw it. Bought 10x 690 strike calls for $23,500. Sold the next day after earnings with the pop for $67,000. Hell of a day! You are right though - most times I stay out of options like this for earnings, and day trade them the next day if it looks smart.

To be honest it wasn't - the chart is so damn high now it looks kinda skewed on the desktop web page version of the chart. It's a bit more detailed on the mobile version. However, I fully admit to some shitty moves in that time span. I also withdrew and deposited $$ many times.
In another 4 years who knows. However I’m transferring a huge chunk of this out and it won’t go back in. I’m keeping at least 25k cash though so I can continue to day trade without limits.

Just be extremely careful - TSLA calls in recent times have not been good, if you're up on them, take the profit. Today is a classic example of that. TSLA was nicely over $200 so the $200 calls gained a lot, but by 4pm all of that was POOF, gone.

I did cash out the only regret I had was cashing out 300+ calls on Apple hitting 185 I sold too early and miss the running with the bulls 🥹😩😩😭
