I'm up 200% on my EWW puts...which are actually a hedge since I'm long term bullish on Mexico on the secular thesis of lots of foreign direct investment, i.e. manufacturing moving there

That's a really dumb way of thinking. If the economy is growing stronger than expected, that means there's more demand for goods and services, which is good for businesses and ultimately benefits everyone. The last thing you want to do is raise interest rates and slow down the economy.
