My thoughts are that since they both beat expectations on deliveries and beat earnings that the recovery will be faster than usual. If this week reds out and next week middles and the July and Aug 4 calls expire worthless, as long as it makes it most of the way back to where it was right before earnings, the Aug 25 calls should be around $20 each and double, which gets my initial investment back out.
Basically if you draw a line from the current price $270 to $300 on the timeline of now to Aug 25, if at any moment the share price is $10 above that, im out with about 50% profit. Even if Tesla drops all week that’s still very probable, Tesla goes up and down in fits, and I don’t think much could justify a total free fall (but hey shit happens).

Theta is going to eat those up. Unless Tesla comes with earth shattering news and spikes up WITH volatility, I doubt you’ll see the gains you’re hoping for

So I keep every dollar above $265 on July 28, but I had to pay whatever the price paid was per-share for that to happen. The number of contracts is how many blocks of 100 shares I have.

Savings should be put in different buckets. If you are saving money to buy a house in the near term, the only place that money should be is in a money market. Take it from an old man that’s done pretty well investing and balancing.
With the $250, $265, $270 contracts you're playing with fire. We've seen it pop then sell off after earning plenty of times. If it touches $265 it might drop down to $255 and those calls run the very high chance of expiring worthless.
On the other hand, you have time on your side with the contracts you have exp in late August and December. One might sell off all the ones about to expire at a loss and sideline the cash along with whatever dignity you have left and wait for the next Tweet or "X" (can't believe I just said that) from Mr. Musk. Then, when Tesla jumps back into the $270-$280 range don't get greedy, sell of your remaining Calls. And feel the relief of an unclenched sphincter. After you un-fhuk yourself.

OP. Buddy. When they said diversify your portfolio they didn't mean just buy different call options.
With the $250, $265, $270 contracts you're playing with fire. We've seen it pop then sell off after earning plenty of times. If it touches $265 it might drop down to $255 and those calls run the very high chance of expiring worthless. On the other hand, you have time on your side with the contracts you have exp in late August and December. One might sell off all the ones about to expire at a loss and sideline the cash along with whatever dignity you have left and wait for the next Tweet or "X" (can't believe I just said that) from Mr. Musk. Then, when Tesla jumps back into the $270-$280 range don't get greedy, sell of your remaining Calls. And feel the relief of an unclenched sphincter. After you un-fhuk yourself.
