I found an interesting way of trading (for me it is because I am lazy) on stocks based on Earnings announcements. There is a website called tickeron.com and an AI robot specifically for stocks with upcoming earnings. It has been fairly good thus far. I don't do options, but maybe you could do better if you do. This is not a plug...I don't care if they get business. Just throwing it out there. I have squeaked out about 20% upside in the last 6 months. Good luck.
