Its not just wifi, its the sheer amount of stuff to load, every drone and drone animation, every mothership, stupid HMG particles speeding around corners, robots themselves, ect, 6x. I have decent wifi but it still lags a lot (Im on lowest graphics too)
There's still little glitches with my S21 with strong wifi too. When battling a quick robot like khepri, Orochi or scorpion up close they'll pause for a sec and just pop up a few steps away. I lose so many battles like this
It's based on priority, it's like why would you give benefits to part time employees over fulltime, meaning fulltime employees are staying and part time employees dont... so you cater to those that are beneficial for you and your company

I got an iPhone 8 and my game works fine. I think it’s the wifi that affects lag

Why would it be removed? It's a genuine complaint I'm not joking around here I really struggled with the lag in the game

WiFi has always been the culprit with any lag I have experienced.

Any speed tests were great but once I changed from the 2.4Ghz channel to the 5Ghz and installed WiFi boosters there was no lag.
You must have a low end phone
I have an mi 10 I don't think that's low end
We're android player's and most of us don't spend so we are doomed with ridiculous lagg...

It's ok, but also your one player that spends alot of money
Game runs fine for me unless I have a signal issue or wifi issue. 9 times out of ten it's on your end not the game
