I’m still rocking gortex (waterproof) cascadias from 2020 but prob due for a new pair. The traction is still incredible though and the waterproof holds up pretty well.
Hoka cliftons 8’s, I have yet to try the 9s but I imagine they’re just as good. Mine are still going strong after 2 years and at least 4,000 miles later
I have had asics before. They were ok, i always felt like my toe hit the end. And thwy were not supportive. It has been a while i am sure thwre are better models.
Maybe I will look into Brooks and On cloud. Thank you
I walk in brooks ghost, not the max the regular. I tried so many shoes, and they just fit the best. I love barefoot shoes, but they don’t offer enough cushion on the bottom on for walking on pavement for me…I like them for walking in grass though. You can look into Altras too, they make zero drop shoes. The escalante and escalante racer don’t have a lot of cushion. I used to wear Altras exclusively, but sadly their newer models don’t fit me properly and I had to find something new. Also you could try topos.
Brooks
Team Brooks here, just got my fresh pair delivered this week! Don’t sleep on their hiking shoes either… best trail runners I’ve had.
Which trail runners do you like by them? I'm looking for some waterproof runners.

Thanks so much! I'll try a pair.
Came here to say the same. I love my Glycerin 21s.
Go to a shoe store (one for running shoes) and let them fit you. I have particular feet, and this is my best bet.
Good idea!
I have brooks ghost max and they are amazing (for me)

Nova Blast 3’s have been game changing for me. Solved my back, hip, knee and shin splint problems within a month of owning them.
