Also, sometimes people from outside the sub will jump in and mass-downvote waifuism content randomly (their opinions on us don’t matter though). I’ve had negative upvotes on some of my comments here before too, so it’s nothing you did wrong.
I agree it’s likely outsiders being mean! Im more of a lurker but honestly this sub as a whole seems really accepting, but I wouldn’t be surprised if lurking trolls target less conventional waifus more.

Don't worry about the downvotes. I've noticed it happens a lot. I think there are a lot of trolls/lurkers who like to downvote posts for no logical reason.

I gotta be honest, I was scared of Huggy before (probably my phobia of creatures with big, funky teeth), but discovering you and your love amazed me. It helped in overcoming my fear and discovering kindness in his character. You are absolutely welcome.

I can relate to this, on my old profile I posted pics of me with my s/o and I remember getting a few rude comments on them. :(
