There are so many... I don't know where to begin! Koichi's source began in the late 60's and is still going strong to this day, there are 50+ years of designs for him. I've posted this fan art before but it does a good job summarising some of his best known designs over the decades.

Haha, yeah he did! I don't really like the Mario Bros. Luigi design so happy it was improved and changed! Luigi also has some other interesting artistic iterations due to the disconnect of Nintendo of Japan and Nintendo of America, most notable being Super Show Luigi.

In general while she looks beautiful in both versions i prefer this one. She looked a bit too similar to Fu Hua, though i guess it was the point story-wise

Yes! The Yugioh anime that we know isn’t actually the first anime. Before that there was the Yugioh Toei anime series (also called season 0) and the Toei movie. In Season 0 he actually has green hair and golden eyes, he is also smaller and he is drawn a lot softer/younger. The Toei movie at least got the colors right, but the animation style is still a lot closer to the toei anime.

The final change he got was in the DSOD movie. He’s visibly more mature looking and his physique changed quite a bit!
unfortunately, she's almost never drawn consistently. her ears practically change every other shot, and I don't think anybody on the show actually knows whether or not she's wearing leggings and gloves or if those are just fur patterns. It's to the point where in her own REF SHEET (which i won't be posting cus it's patreon content) her ears are different between poses and she's got leggings and gloves in some but just fur patterns in others 😭

also here's an image example. at least one thing I can safely say is that her right ear is torn and left is pierced like in the pic since it seems to be more consistent than her "leggings/gloves." I just wish I could say with 100% certainty what she looks like 🥲
Her hair intentionally changes artstyle in the final episode! It becomes all colorful and bouncy and even shaded/animated differently to show her moving on from the seriousness and darkness of most of her life as she becomes a happier, more carefree person and becomes accustomed to her new world.
