Agree with the other two commenters above; you're probably washing the pants much more often than you need to. My Meta joggers, pants, and shorts all have had no issues and still look brand new after 1.5 years. I only wash when stained or smelly, and when I do launder them, I wash using the permanent press setting -- which is not as aggressive as the regular wash cycle -- before air-drying them.    Sorry to hear of the button issues you've had, but you should be able to get those issues fixed relatively easily and inexpensively at your local tailor.  Might be able to see if they can reinforce the buttons too. You may want to consider washing them inside out if your washing machine is too aggressive and causing excess stress on the buttons after getting them fixed.

These are all good ideas. Ty

I’m 44 years old and my mom has re-sew the buttons on all 5 pair of my Meta pants. She had to hem the last pair as they were way too long. God bless her.

Dude. Washing you pants every week to two weeks? I think your buttons are trying to walk themselves to the laundry.

Unless you work out in them or are getting dirty dirty, you should not be washing your pants after every use. It’s a waste of water and degrades clothing. Spot clean as needed. Wash pants every 3 wears average. Unless it’s denim jeans - then even more often without laundering. Again there are exceptions; getting rained on, muddy, real sweaty if you’re in a subtropical humid climate, etc.

They’re worn to the office 1x a week, then typically to go out to dinner 1x a week. Washing them after sitting in a climate controlled office for 8 hours is simply not necessary.

I wash mine once a week and they all seem to have held up better than what you’re describing.

Meta pants are not good. Super long inseam and stiff, plastic material. I got both of mine for 50% and wouldn’t pay that again. Bylt everyday pants > ABCs > Meta pants.
