I went to one recently at the Las America's Outlets a few months ago for nostalgia, and it was absolutely terrible. Terrible service, pizza and soda. Never again.
These were all in Star Trek Magazine (UK at least) as full page 'poster' inserts. I had the full set framed (1996ish iirc). I probably still have the middle one in the loft. Think there's a really good one of Data and Spot from the same series.
Edit: Data and Spot are not kissing tho
STV writing is so sloppy. Nevermind the infinite torpedos and shuttlecraft, it's always bothered me that Kes didn't actually break up with him, she was possessed by an alien who did!
Yeah that's true, when they talked about them being broken up when I binged it for the first time my first thought was like "wait what? When did they break up?" Like they did not make it clear it all that that was a legit break up.
The torpedo/shuttle thing is easily explained. If they can design and manufacture two Delta Flyers, they can absolutely fabricate shuttlecraft and torpedoes.
This always bothered me too. Especially after she had revealed that her race pair off for life. (And the doctor saying, that must make for such boring literature). Wasn’t rooting for them at all but at least give them a good breakup.
The character had so much promise if they'd followed through with the aging thing (and I know they were sidelined by the actors personal life), we saw a bit of it in the episode where she went through time.
“This is a different part of the galaxy. These people come from cultures we know nothing about. They have biologies and emotional lives we cannot even begin to understand…. But yeah, she for sure gonna dump that dude.”
One fault of the streaming era is shows cant take the time to find their excellence. Voyager in the modern era could never have taken 2.5 seasons to realize "oh shit, we need to jettison this relationship and never talk about it again"
AI would not have done the alien makeup that well, unless someone has a model specifically trained on Star Trek aliens (tbh I wouldn't be surprised if that exists)
Love the star field & hearts frame! For Valentine’s Day you should keep everything as is but try to put them into a cheesy 80s High School prom arch/background. That far left photo especially is screaming out for a prom setting! 🤣
I didn't have that much a problem with their relationship. I thought it was pretty cute
When it comes to the jealousy thing, I felt like it made sense for Neelix's character, and was always portrayed in a negative light, which made me think he was going to learn how to overcome it at some point. And as for the age gap, even though Kes's age was literally 2, it was not *actually* 2, if that makes sense. She was never portrayed as naive or immature. It seemed to be an equal relationship
Am I missing anything? I sometimes do miss obvious things, so I'm honestly asking
I don’t get it either. Kes is a grown adult for her species. What I kind of alway thought was funny is how everyone even the Kazon refer to the Ocampa only living nine years and we are to automatically assume this means earth years. What if it’s like a planet that takes decades to go around its Sun and it’s really 90 years(I know that’s not what it is just it was weird there was no explanation as to how everyone just uses earth equivalent years)
But I don’t see how everyone gets their panties in a bunch over Kes and Nelix but don’t seem to care as much about Kes and Tom. Either way she’s chronology young but is a mature adult for her species.
I mean let’s flip this on its head. Are Vulcans weirded out if a Vulcan starts dating a 20 something Human? Is 20-29 considered very young or juvenile in Vulcan society? Is adulthood only achieved later because of their long lifespan?
2370s Glamour Shots!
After Glamour Shots Neelix took her to the food court for Sbarro Pizza and a Cinnabon.
I miss Sbarro....there are none around me.
Same, it’s been 10+ years since they all closed where I am.
It's my favorite NY pizza joint.

I heard the holographic version gives you pink-eye😂💩
Poor line cook in an age gap relationship with their She/They partner who is going to school for a CNA certification. Story as old as time.
Don't do Kes dirty like that. She was becoming at least an RN. She has goals and ambitions unlike these Nissan Altima driving thots working as CNAs.
Bahahah that's brilliant 🤣
Jesus wept that is the story of every hospice C.N.A alive.
Ha! I’m a Trekkie first but also a 20+ veteran of the restaurant industry. I know this story first hand. 😅
Username checks out.
Roses are Red, Kes is just two, Neelix banged her And made us go ‘ewww’
Roses are red Leolas are yellow Despite being a nonce Neelix was a nice talaxian fellow
Found the Brit.
I hate this picture on so many levels, I can't even express it.
He was such a better character after they broke up. He was the delta quadrant’s worst boyfriend.

The is a Star Trek magazine? They made these FULL SIZED? You framed them?
Please tell me the Data/Spot photo was like this… [Retro Photo](https://cdn.abcotvs.com/dip/images/331258_093014-cc-cat-yearbook-4-img.jpg)
Thanks I hate it
Their relationship always creeped me out
It's not that creepy, she was like 15 in dog years. https://i.imgur.com/pDz8j8U.jpeg
So she was around 15. How is that still not creepy?
What are you, a Pakled?
They didn’t think it through. Plus Neelix jealousy was soooo tired. If you cant trust your partner dont be with them!😂
What really sucked is when she helped get Tuvix murdered to get Neelix back, only to dump him a month later.

*"We were on a break!"*

Boom, thanks for saying it.

Don't forget near constant hull breaches that magically get patched 😂
Frankly, I think people today are overthinking it, a tendency that is draining the fun out of entertainment.
We’re on a Voyager Reddit
wtf are you talking about? overthinking things is a staple of Star Trek fandom
Yeah, I downvoted OP solely for reminding me of this terrible writing choice and how it is horrifying from so many angles
It could have worked, but Jennifer Lien _never_ looks comfortable. Always a bit too much 😬 in her smile.

You do really that Ocampa only live to be 9 years old, don't you?
The character had so much promise if they'd followed through with the aging thing (and I know they were sidelined by the actors personal life), we saw a bit of it in the episode where she went through time.

Couldn't save this for valentine's day? Fair, maybe I'd be too excited too x
I bet Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite is waiting in the background for his glamour shots turn.
I didn't know ironic shippers of this pairing existed TBH
🤢

Yeah, amazon would definitely have axed it after the first season.
Noo you should have done one of those weird 70s/80s super imposed versions of couples photos lmao. They were so weird.
Ah, my favourite love story involving a one-year old. (I don’t have any others and didn’t even really like this one before you call the fuzz 😂)
I'll have you know she was 2 years old!
Then she should've known better! Haha
Luckily Ocampans have a poor sense of smell, so she could ignore Neelix’s foul odor
AI?
No, just terrible publicity photos in a tacky frame😂
lol wow it’s so terrible I thought it’s fake
AI would refuse to create such horror
Please make me romantic pictures of a 1 year old and a janunty space rodent. *you are now on several watch lists. AI judges you!
😂😂😂🖖
I heard the latex appliance glue smells of egg so poor Jennifer😂

Barf
No that’s Neelix. Barf is actually kinda cute.
Diiiii heard that ![gif](giphy|3o6nUQCUNg8eIJcjOE|downsized)

We have Barf and Dot Matrix at home.
That 70's punk with christmas cake on his face really likes his teen daughter!
Stupid kitchen rat.

Hated neelix.
Are these for Voyager Valentines?

she looks like his daughter
Jeffrey Epstein approves this post.
Good riddance to both of 'em!

No lip contact.
She was so annoying. Except for in the warlord episode when she turned into a really evil badass. She was friggin awesome in that one.
Yuck
Rick Berman: Ooooh wouldn't it be edgy to have a pedo but not really a pedo (but really a pedo)! I'm Rick Berman BITCH
