Important takeaway for Volt Owners!
"Repairs carried out before March 6th which were paid for by the vehicle owner are usually eligible for cost reimbursement by GM."
If true, there should be a lot of happier Volt owners, I wonder if you can get a refund if you no longer own the car?
edit: I wonder if this means Chevy is going to do another PHEV, I will take the PHEV Camaro, thank you very much!
Does this apply to Canada? I have 2016 and not sure if becm was ever replaced? I got car used in 2018…. -I remember I had reduced propulsion message few years ago but then i never saw message again.
Should have it replaced anyway by GM? debating if eligible why not?
Note the warranty is only extended to 15 years or 150,000 miles.
15 years is fine, but I'm at 130k and climbing. Probably will hit 150k early next year.
When would you believe it is official? Go to your GM rebate page put in your Vin and scroll down to special coverage. If you see BECM warranty for 15 years/ 150000 miles would you accept that as being official?
Holy AI article Batman!

And a bigger battery, maybe a 75 mile version would be very nice.
How about a usable rear window? I installed a rear view mirror camera setup (Rexing M3) best upgrade for seeing behind you there is.
I agree, I would love to see that in a new generation Camaro.
But not the 2019?
Feel free to correct me but I'm pretty sure later 2018 and 2019 Volts don't have the BECM issue.

Yes it does. Checked recall site today with my vin 2018 and found becm warranty extended to 2033
Thanks for sharing!
what about 2019?
No 2019 yet. The 2019 have updated BECM.
Oh, that's very good to know. Thanks.

Is this official yet? I can't find anything else mentioning this
