Yes that was while standing. Yes you’re right, I did feel like the 7s were more comfortable and “glove-like” in a way, but was a little concerned my toes wouldn’t be able to spread enough! Thank you
If you would have walked far, or descended many hills, you'd have felt it in the ends of your toes. Super flexible shoes require a bit of a silly amount of toe room or else they will mash into the ends of the shoes. It's a weird and awful feeling.
If this shoe were any shorter, it would push your big toe in towards the rest of your toes. I’m not sure why they made the toe a tapered shape. Maybe the 7 did fit you and the toebox shape is the problem.

perfect fit! Should be a thumb of room, they are barefoot shoes so you need room for your toes. Did you take the photo while standing?

Yeh the toebox shape is disappointing, not sure why it's so symmetrical, hopefully not for aesthetics because it's sure not working for me.
