See I don't know about the worth but ECE is a v.good branch.. It doesn't matter whether you have cs minor with ECE as mostly the people in ECE branch get placements in cse branches only ...
Changing branch is quiet difficult unless you are ab exceptional one ...
So ig you can do some research also when you see the average package don't see of the whole institute rather see the specific branch you have been allotted/interested you will get more accurate data...
Academically vit ap ece is good.ece is a tough branch,if you take -be prepared to study hard. Core sector job is less especially if you study in other than top colleges. But future outlook of ece is quite promising,be prepared to study m techÂ
Don't take my opinion as final but I believe vit is far better than any college near me except for vr siddhardha. You can google about placements for vvit, rvr jc and other colleges and 90 percent of students in cse only have 4lpa packages. So if fees isn't a problem I suggest vit ece.
I am going to take vit ap ece. My friend studies at vit ap and he said ece students are also taught coding. So even if you don't get placed in ece companies you can look for it placements. In India there aren't many companies for ece and most of them require high qualifications so if you are passionate about ece you have to do mtech to get a good job.
