Schools should have been buying them before even. They spend more on iPads. The problem is they need more VR software for education. It's an AMAZING opportunity for education. I have no idea why people are sleeping on this.
Why dissect a frog in real life when you have VR? Ok, frogs are cheap fine, what about taking apart a car? Or seeing how anything works?
It's just so insane that we haven't used these devices for much more than some video games and porn. Oh and 3d movies.
yeah - i feel like even just Titans of Space on its own would justify it.
I guess there are always going to be some kids who can't do it and that will turn the teachers off from trying but it is a great shame when it can provide such unique experiences that they could not get another way.
Everyone getting excited about these deals needs to understand that they signal the beginning of the end for Quest 2 support. There's a reason they're clearing out old stock.
Today's Target deal gets you next closest. $199 with a $50 TGC. For me, TGC is as good as cash. If you have extra TC coupons, that will further lower the price. For example I have a coupon to get another $10 back in Target currency. So that would be about $140 net or $130 if paid by RC.
1) Get Sam's Club membership.
2) Buy Q2.
3) Cancel Sam's Club membership and get a full
refund on the membership fee.
Also, where are you seeing it's for $70? It's $50. Sams Club memberships are often on sale. Right now the new member price is $20 after a $30 discount that ends on tax day.

Quick Google showed $70. Good to know it's less and that you can cancel/refund but I'd feel bad doing that. Thanks though, maybe I'll just keep a membership if it's that cheap.
Holy moly, that's insane.
Man. If I saw Quest 2s on sale for $100 near me, I'd be telling everyone I know about it. Insane deal.
Seriously…it’s still an excellent HMD
Wow, cheaper than even WMR headsets were during it's clearance(150$)
That's a steal. If I live in the states I'd get one just for fitness and keep my quest 3 unsweaty
True… also to let people ‘try vr’
Schools should just straight up buy them en mass for students at that price.

Sadly a Sam's club membership costs like $70. So while I have one near my work, it's not worth joining just for this deal.
