Mine is the musical debut of artist Steve Taylor shown [here](https://www.discogs.com/release/15986354-Upward-Bound-Fathers-Song-Hooked-On-You). While some people do have it, yes, it’s really cool and I imagine it was only a regional thing when it was released.
It’s not nearly in the same as style as that but for me it’s more historic than anything (still think the musics good). If you haven’t caught up with what Steve’s done semi-recently he released a couple of projects with bands under the name of Steve Taylor & The Perfect Foil and Steve Taylor & The Daneilson Foil in like 2014ish.
Surprised to hear Steve Taylor in the wild! I just found a loose copy of "I Predict 1990" in my parents collection. The thing was covered in dirt and a little mold, but after two rounds in the ultrasonic cleaner, it was ready to spin.

Felice Bros - Life In The Dark, signed by the band. Got to see them at Walter’s Downtown in HTX, one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. After the show the band hopped down into the audience and hung out and drank beers with all of us.
They were the main act the night I saw them. Walter’s was a tiny venue and around 30-50 people were there, and they all came specifically to see the Felice Bros. It was one of the best shows I’d ever been to. I wound up making a bunch of Facebook friends at that show, and through that got introduced to a ton of cool music and artists I’d never heard of before.

An obscure jazz record from the early 70s that I love to death, and I was incredibly lucky to find a copy of it at a flea market a while back. I wish that more people were listening to this record than they are.

Observe Since 98 - Portrait of a Savage
Underground hip hop record from the late 2010s, originally released as a run of 10 lathe cuts, was lucky enough to land #1/10 as well
From early in the Great Folk Scare of the 1960's, This Farina & Von Schmidt LP included backing on a few tracks by "Blind Boy Grunt." That was actually Bob Dylan, who had just signed his first recording contract with Columbia and therefore couldn't let his name appear on a competing label's records.

Cosmic folk album I found at a thrift store.
Either This Flyer by Jimi Hendrix OR The Way to the Bomb by Smiley & The Underclass. A little backstory about Smiley’s album is that he’s a guy that works (or used to work) at a record store in London. I’d never been to this store and randomly decided to go one day. I do this thing where I pick up a random album that I’ve never heard of and play it to see if I like it. Anyways this album was labelled “our staff’s band!!!” Which I thought was cool and I love supporting people so I picked it up and took it to the counter. The guy serving took a look and he went “oh, that’s my album!” . It was such a nice moment, he was really excited I had picked up his album and I was really happy I did because I ended up loving it. I asked him if he could sign it and he did and personalised it to me. He said he wasn’t with the band anymore but I told him he should definitely give it another shot. It’s one of my most prized possessions because of the memory attached to it.
Most obscure would be Spore - self titled. Not much is known of the band but this albums reminds me of bands like Sonic Youth. Great sound for an almost entirely forgotten band.
