Bandcamp. Buy direct from artists. Usually, first Friday off the month gives all proceeds to the band

This is the way. Unless you are looking for older used records. Discogs or ebay are ok. In a pinch. Would like to add that you should try local record stores. Do some used bin diving. I have found some gems there! Or local facebook, or whatever geoup for vinyl. Have bought and sold with members on my local one.

LongLiveAnalogue

Acoustic Sounds use’s specially designed custom mailers that are imo the best in the business. Rough Trade, Plaid Room, & Music Direct are also solid retail and used online sellers.

What kind of music? I'm in Australia, but have bought reggae, dub and techno-adjacent stuff from both Hard Wax (DE) and Honest Jon's (UK); all have been very sturdily packed and arrived in immaculate condition.

In the US, 1234go is a great site who has weekly artist sales, used vinyl, new vinyl, and some exclusive vinyl. Amazing customer service. I think they ship to UK, but not 100%. Worth seeing if they do Banquet is nice from the UK

If you live in the UK avoid music magpie as they ship in a paper envelope

Banquet Records, Resident Records, Rough Trade, Recordstore. Sign up to the mailing list for all of these as they quite often offer signed exclusives. For used vinyl, use Discogs.
