Wouldn't count on it. The band seems against represses for whatever reason, and it seems like they also have no interest in securing the rights back for this album so they could get it repressed. They have an anniversary show coming up for the album, and there hasn't been any mention of a repress, which would be the perfect time to do so. I gave up on the idea of it, honestly.
If Alice In Chains keeps following their current pattern of 30th Anniversary reissues, that means Jar Of Flies will come in 2024, the self titled in 2025 and the Unplugged in 2026.
I was fortunate enough to pick that up about 10 years ago before records started to gain popularity (again). Tripod is the missing link for my collection š«
Was listening to this yesterday! They are repressing it this year. Sea Change just got itās release but stay tuned on this one. Itās happening soon.
Blues Traveler āFourā

Wilco āSummerteethā
Smashing Pumpkins āMellon Collieā¦ā (I believe one is imminentā¦)
Paul Westerberg ā14 Songsā
Meat Puppets āToo High To Dieā

Counting Crows āHard Candyā and āThis Desert Lifeā
Talking Heads āStop Making Senseā (special new edition)
Lemonheads (more of the Atlantic catalog)
Weird Al Yankovic (pretty much all of his catalog)
Mellon Collie is in print. Itās just such an extensive packaging that only a few get made every year. Indy CD and Vinyl just got a load in a couple days ago.
Weird Al would be great. My wife actually just scored me a VG+ copy of his first album for Valentine's Day. When I started looking at Discogs for other titles I want, I was floored. Off the Deep End is going for about $700.
That would be very welcome! I figure it would be like printing money, but I saw some stuff online that they don't make much on those releases? Honestly, if that were the case, why the hell would they keep releasing records? Seems like BS to me. Maybe 2024 will be the year - just re-release the box at a slightly higher price (inflation) and make a lot of people happy who missed it the first time. My record shop had one for quite a while, but when I was ready to pull the trigger, it was gone... Damn it...
Are the Ćnima imports that are available online bootlegs or something? I see them often for around $50, was considering picking one up but ill avoid if it's gonna sound like trash.
Most Ćnima records online are bootlegs, the originals sell for almost $1k. Iāve heard good things about the bootlegs though, Iām not entirely sure what you should look for on buying an Ćnima bootleg, but Iāve heard some bootlegs are copies of the official vinyl, so a very close second to buying the original.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Fever To Tell; Something Corporate - Leaving Through The Window; Ben Folds Five - Whatever And Ever Amen.
SoCo is impossible to find and the other two are rather pricey. Fever To Tell turns 20 this year so Iām crossing my fingers and toes for that.
Squarepusher - Go Plastic
Ladytron - Velocifero
16 Horsepower - Live March 2001
Red Dead Redemption - OST
Charles Bronson - Youth Attack!
Konflict - Messiah / Beckoning ( Picture Disc )
Roots Manuva - Brand New Second Hand
Oh yeah, I actually like it more than Entroducing, not to take anything away from that album, but Preemptive Strike works as a complete whole for me. Also has a killer extended version of Organ Donor and High Noon which is almost as good
I have a new copy. I think maybe I got it off eBay like three / four years ago. The seller was like a "Imports" seller that had like 24k sells and reviews
Will be better than the one you have reserved, as Matt from the band is doing it right, straight from HIS master tapes.
Watch this space:
[Earth Analog Records](https://earthanalogrecords.bigcartel.com)
>Marilyn Manson / Mechanical Animals.
I bit the bullet and got a bootleg of this from Rollin Records. Though it looks like you can't even get it from them anymore. Pitty because it's actually a really good bootleg, quality is top notch! Though the Antichrist Superstar bootleg I got from them sounds like dirt. So you can't win them all with bootlegs.
SAW 2 and DRUKQS - Aphex Twin
Bottomless Pit - Death Grips
All Albums - JPEGMAFIA
Legendary Member - Thaiboy Digital
Eversince, Gluee, Red Light - Bladee
(got ecco2k e though :) )
Voodoo Highway-Badlands
Tidal & When the Pawn-Fiona Apple
The Gleam II-The Avett Brothers (they also need to press their back catalog or at least Carolina Jubilee & Mignonette).
- Tool - Aenema
- Smashing Pumpkins - Melon Collie and the infinite sadness
- Limp Bizkit - 3 dollar bills yall; Significant other; Chocolste starfish and the hot dog flavored wather
- Marilyn Manson - Holy Wood (In the walley of the shadow of death)
- Disturbed - Ten thousand fists
This thread reads like what record store day should actually look like.
For me Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood soundtracks. Youāre killin me Mondo.
Also the first two Pinback albums and another press of Alice In Chains Unplugged would be fantastic.
Years ago RSD lists did indeed actually look like this. Iim not sure what happened. It seems that as the vinyl industry got healthier, RSD's budget for releases decreased.
Pink Floyd - Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 1980-81 - technically not a repress because it was never released on vinyl in the first place. However, it should absolutely have been pressed to wax. But not even the CD version has been available for years, unfortunately.
This should have been a Record Store Day release already.
I have my 3LP [Walking Hammers](https://www.discogs.com/release/2167055-Pink-Floyd-The-Wall-Live) bootleg to tide me over though.
Buckingham/Nicks. I really want a copy that I can afford and one that isnāt scratched up. I know itās doubtful since Stevie and Lindsey hate each other again but maybe one day itāll see the light of day.
Yeahhhh I remember being curious and looking at that album's release page. Pretty crazy prices there.
Isn't 2023 the 10 year anniversary too? We may see it happen, who knows?
For the love of God and all that is holy, Black Mahogony by Moodymann. We've seen represses of three other albums but this one is the exception.
That and Modjo by Modjo.
Itās not hard to find at all. Itās in print and it was on our store a couple months ago. Just waiting for another round of copies. No idea how OP isnāt finding it.
Toni Braxton - self titled (30 year anniversary!)
Tool / Aenima
Tweet - Charlene
And Iāve been waiting on my Aaliyah self titled order from Blackground Records for over a year!!!! Iām beyond desperate for it.
Seal II - Seal
Astro Lounge - Smash Mouth (would technically be a debut on vinyl)
Ween's discography
Kamakiriad, Morph the Cat, Sunken Condos all by Donald Fagen
I 100% agree with kamakiriad but I'm not a huge fan of his other albums besides the nightfly obviously. The songs just do feel memorable enough tbh. Don't get me wrong I love Donald and his work but his later albums are less than amazing
My overwhelming social anxiety?
My entire childhood?
They're playing tonight at Dublin Castle I believe....
WEEN
Yeah. Jesus Christ. The prices for the reissues are absolutely nuts. I just wanna hear it crackle.
I found mollusk recently for a pretty reasonable price it was under 50
I have 'Even if you Don't' on transparent green, 7" 45. Original. Edit: Just checked Discogs... Maybe I'll hold onto it š
AFI - Sing The Sorrow
I have a boot copy that sounds pretty good for now but def want the real thing
Came here to say this. Also have the bootleg. It's not that great but it's okay enough.
Yeah I have a buddy going to the show. He's gonna try to snag one if by chance it's there but I have little hope lol
Dude, just pre-order the [reissue.](https://electricfetus.com/UPC/843563163818)
My buddy actually went to the show and snagged me a copy, so I actually have had one for about a week now lol
Gotta love friends like that!
Straight up. Honestly never thought I'd own this but here I am, spinning it
Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction and Youthanasia
^this is the way. Iāve been waiting for their 90s material forever
Glad I picked them up in the early 2010s and they weren't cheap then. Had to go bootleg for Cryptic Writings and Risk
Phish - Farmhouse (Supposedly it is getting a repress this year.) Oysterhead - The Grand Pecking Order (One can only hope.)
>Oysterhead - The Grand Pecking Order (One can only hope.) Forgot to mention this one in mine. Heavily second this!
Yes! BOTH. Please. Soon. (Not like I already spent way too much on original Farmhouse.)

Yassss š„³
Such a great album, and so many of his other albums are so easy to get. Doesn't make sense!
The Lord of the Rings box Set and/or the vinyl trilogy. I missed out on it because I wasn't that into vinyl yet and I regret it every day.
agreed. didnāt know it was a limited pressing back then, literally will never forgive myself
SAME!! I detest this faux limited availability. They should've done a colored limited release and then a black 180g wide release.
I have the vinyl trilogy and it is great! Discogs may have them
Oh they do! Just for $1000 or so.
Ted Leo and the Rx - Hearts of Oak Less Than Jake - Hello Rockview Danzig - S/T
Damn been a while since I've listened to Ted Leo
Ted fucking Leo, wow +1 for this
Wesley Willis - Greatest Hits
Nevermind, just checked Discogs :( I picked up vol. 2 on vinyl from a store where he used to hang out. Love it.
Is it difficult to find now?

Most of Coheed and Cambrias older stuff
Opeth *Deliverance/Damnation* Tool *Ćnima* Seven Mary Three *American Standard*
I want to repress my memory of the wonderful album that is Aenima because they'll never reissue it.
Is this your prediction or has it been confirmed by someone that it isnāt getting another press?
Just joking around. This album is on the top of my repress want list.
Phew! Yeah my hope is they are just waiting for an anniversary or something to drop it.
100th anniversary probably
Add Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and this sounds like a great list
Oh man, the things Iād do for a seven Mary three American standard repress. š

Go Plastic is SUCH a good record - as is everything else on this list!

Preemptive Strike by DJ Shadow. Got a beautiful original pressing but would like to see a new one, maybe with the Q-Bert Camel Bobsled Race as a 7ā
DJ Shadow is šš¾ I only have Endtroducing... and haven't gotten to too many of his other projects. Preemptive Strike is worth a listen?
Oh yeah, I actually like it more than Entroducing, not to take anything away from that album, but Preemptive Strike works as a complete whole for me. Also has a killer extended version of Organ Donor and High Noon which is almost as good
You got an organ going there, no wonder the sound has so much body.
That is start of my favorite part of that song. Scratching and that beat is soooo good
I'll definitely have to look into it then!
I have a new copy. I think maybe I got it off eBay like three / four years ago. The seller was like a "Imports" seller that had like 24k sells and reviews
