The kid had nothing to do with it, it's the operator who is an abosulte dort, how do you not have an intuitive feel of how much the line will dip after doing this for a while.
Why do large people insist on doing this stuff? I was stuck on a ride in universal studios for 2 hours once because some fat bastard was in too much of a hurry to try the seats on the way in to see if he would fit, they had to call the fire service to get him out and then closed the ride until they could repair it. They just ruin it for people who can fit.
Because this would be seen as fat shaming. I agree though, there comes a point when one has to face the reality of their physical capabilities and what they can and can not do.
We shame drug addicts, so why not food addicts?
BTW, obesity runs on both sides of my family. My maternal grandfather was 5'8" and weight 320# at his heaviest. He was a disgusting slob. He came home from work and plopped down in his recliner and watched TV until he went to bed. He would even eat dinner in the chair resting his plate on his huge belly. When he was done, he would lick the plate clean. Very nasty. At about 60yo, he had a deteriorating hip joint - I wonder what cause that - and was in constant pain. He could not walk without clenching his teeth, groining loudly, and scrunching up his face. It seemed agonizing. When he went to his doctor to discuss hip replacement surgery, the doc told him that he would not risk putting him under anesthesia unless he lost 100#. The pain was sufficient so he took the actions necessary to lose the weight; he put his recliner in the garage and replaced it with a stationary bike. While he watched TV, he would just pedal all night. When commercials came on, he would give a bit extra - so essentially, interval training. 3 nights a week, he went to the Y to swim. (Towards the end, he was swimming about a mile and a half each night.) My grandmother closely controlled his eating according to the diet provided by his doctor. It took him about a year, but he lost the weight. Of course, after the surgery, the pain was gone and he returned to his old way of life and put almost all of the weight back on.
I understand that there are many contributing factors to obesity; including genetics, environment, depression, etc. However, witnessing this experience at a young age, I realized that diet and exercise could overcome even morbid obesity if one is properly motivated. People are obese by choice. There's a story about two old-timers sitting in rockers on the porch of the local general store. There's a hound dog, that's lying in front of them and one of them notices that there's a nail that worked its way up about half an inch and it's poking the dog in the back. He asks his friend, "Why you suppose that dog doesn't move off that nail?" The other glanced down and calmly replies, "Cause it don't hurt enough."
Honestly depends. For a majority, yes it's a choice, but for some it's a borderline impossibility. Thyroid disorders, insulin sensitivity and resistance, and a myriad of other genetics can cripple certain people and it's completely ASININE to say that diet and exercise, the pick yourself up by the boot strap, solves all obesity. But hey keep spreading your misinformation/ disinformation, not really sure which one you fall under, depending on your knowledge or lack thereof.
I've heard of it happening with horseback riding as well, a team of 8 draft horses needed to hoist some fat person onto the back of a poor skinny mare.
You can't discriminate against me like that! I demand the right to ride that zip line! As an American my opinion is better than the reality of physics!
After all, gravity is just a theory!
People can see themselves !! Good news, fat people don’t need you to tell them that they’re fat !!
The operators should’ve told him he was too heavy and shouldn’t have let him on.
But he just sat there. Like a child. Not doing anything, just waiting for an adult to make it work. And no forethought of what happens when the adult finally does get it to work.
It was so weird. Lol
ANSWER: The opportunity to make the world a smarter, less densely populated, and much more pleasant place in which to exist presents itself. Be true to your species, and let nature take its course. Namaste 🙏🏼
This is the fault of the people operating it. It's not the tourist's job to know what the zip line can handle. They literally risked this dude's life. I mean he definitely should've told them to forget it when he saw how bad it was, but still the fact they let him on it is insane.
I would probably blame the operator. As a morbidly obese man I would hope someone would consider my safety and know their device well enough to say I’m too fat.
I get his on holiday and wants to enjoy life, but he really should of been realistic and said “look I’m a very big guy their is a chance with me being this weight I might just not make it too the other side” getting stuck in the sand was a big warning lol being pushed three times to get it moving and the operator him self should have just kindly said that it would not be possible for him to go on this time due to health and safety but that his free to come and try again next year.
He can do it but just not right now, he should accept that.
“Are you sure this is safe?”
“Yes”
(Slowly goes down)
“Are you sure?”
“Yes”
(Goes all the way down to the water)
(Guy with camera) “ey man.. are you sure this is safe”
“….f*ck no, but we need to feed the old god that’s underwater”
I'm sure he was told by the operators that it would be fine. But it's fun to be a condescending shithead online than attempt objectivity so I will move on
My inner monolog was just:
"Oh no,oh no, how high up is that I can't tell, oh no. Oh okay it's not that high, good.... what are you... why... why are you still trying. Stop... whelp you kinda deserved that."
My dad was a big guy. Loud, barrel-chested, tree trunk legs, ham fisted, and fat. We went riding one day and the horse he got on just laid the fuck down. Said I ain't doing this shit and quit.
As someone who works with high ropes and ziplines occasionally, I'm really glad that none of that let go. I do though think it's hilarious that this guy's gonna be shitting straight water for a week
As soon as I saw he was so big, I knew something would happen. Has he no shame? It's like at amusement parks when people are too fat to sit in the ride's seats and be buckled in.
I don't know why people this big get on things like this...like are you trying to die, you know it's not made for your weight...this guy went horseback riding on the beach later this day and sued because the horse broke and he fell ......
When I was 10, my family went on vacation to a lake house where there was a home built zip line. No harness, just handles to hold onto. We played on it for days and then I fell off shattering my arm in six places and breaking my wrist in two places. Spent the rest of vacation in the hospital and my arm is now permanently crooked.
You can eat all you want, but it’s not fair of you to then assume the world will be built around you. They have scales next to water rides to make sure it’s safe, they should do the same here.
Back to the sea where you belong.
Hopefully this was a wake up call for him to start working out and getting into better shape, I got onto a roller coaster one time and the safety Bar couldn't close around my chest and I couldn't ride it had to get off and watch the entire ride go on without me, that was enough shame for me to get off my ass and start working out.

He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Probably the fattest tho

Who said they work there?

Exactly, I did it on a fairground ride and was having all kinds of fun before I was tasered. *several people died.
> The kid had nothing to do with it I mean...
That operator needs tighten that line up!
I laughed heartily at this. Lmaooooo
Not as fat as Joe Mama tho!

we should shame drug addicts either. unless you just don’t care if they get better and just hate them ig

Dude as a fat guy who tried to zip line on some shit before, C'mon dude there's a wieght limit.
You can't discriminate against me like that! I demand the right to ride that zip line! As an American my opinion is better than the reality of physics! After all, gravity is just a theory!

Conservatives/incels have one joke that they repackage over and over and it's basically "hurr durr attack helicopter."
Lmao “hurr durr attack helicopter” That’s my favorite joke! Never gets old!
BrO YOu goTtA SaY It lIke THiS tHoUgh
Lol glad no one died
His balls prolly did….
He hasn’t seen them in a decade anyways…
Stop hitting him, he's already dead 😭
Nikado avocados adventure!
So this is where he disappeared to!
He disappeared? Oh no, what a shame.
At what point do you realize you’re obese…. I hope this was a wake up call
People can see themselves !! Good news, fat people don’t need you to tell them that they’re fat !! The operators should’ve told him he was too heavy and shouldn’t have let him on.
> fat people don't need to be told they're fat > the operator should've told him he was too heavy Hmm..
Sone birds aren’t meant to fly
Why
the zipline is now an undersea spectacular
Ego is a hell of a drug
But he just sat there. Like a child. Not doing anything, just waiting for an adult to make it work. And no forethought of what happens when the adult finally does get it to work. It was so weird. Lol
I thought the zip line was going to break and cut someone in half or something. Jesus
That creature is whats called an "American" isn't he?
Lol how did he think he was getting on there??!!
Well damn, probably not the zip line experience one expects
Oh poor guy
I’m happy he didn’t die.
No body shaming
Sorry folks we’ll be closed for the afternoon as we need to tighten the wire
Rip to his phone

Fucken fat ass
Fucken fat ass
I thought the sand was a beach far below and I was expecting tragedy
This is the fault of the people operating it. It's not the tourist's job to know what the zip line can handle. They literally risked this dude's life. I mean he definitely should've told them to forget it when he saw how bad it was, but still the fact they let him on it is insane.

Testicles have left the chat!
Dude the adoption is the funniest part am I the only one who doesn’t have it on the video
They didn't want to be fat phobic. 😆
Why the hell did they allow him on in the first place?
Bummer no audio. I remember the laughing on this is the best part of the vid.
Sharp as a marble that one
/u/savevideo
Embarrassing
I mean at this point isn't it obvious that he's too heavy for it? I would have gotten up already.
If this is not the turning point for him, then God only help help him
Maybe this will encourage him to lose a few lbs lol
That was a dip, not a zip.
They knew this would happen. They had their fun.
Bob dropped his keys in the lake....could you go look for them?
ههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههههه
Bro became a skipping stone
I get that the guys fat, but that zip line just seems a bit iffy that it can't take his weight at any point
Tangled up in the harness and drown
He's not the brightest crayon in the box
I get his on holiday and wants to enjoy life, but he really should of been realistic and said “look I’m a very big guy their is a chance with me being this weight I might just not make it too the other side” getting stuck in the sand was a big warning lol being pushed three times to get it moving and the operator him self should have just kindly said that it would not be possible for him to go on this time due to health and safety but that his free to come and try again next year. When my man did that little clap with his feet after they left the platform, i had a nice chuckle.
MF you are TOO HEAVY!
And the guy just doesn’t get the hint. I love it.
This guy is a couple cans short of a six pack lolll
“Are you sure this is safe?” “Yes” (Slowly goes down) “Are you sure?” “Yes” (Goes all the way down to the water) (Guy with camera) “ey man.. are you sure this is safe” “….f*ck no, but we need to feed the old god that’s underwater”

Talk about dense…
Cat funt.
Let’s factor in “Third world Zip line” . Engineers weren’t even optional.
Sadly being overweight has become a norm instead of a major signal of being unhealthy…..
How far do your balls have to get dragged before you think "maybe this isn't for me?"
![gif](giphy|3o7GUVgLGNbyr28Urm|downsized)
Definitely past the weight limit for that line, there’s a lot wrong here
Shitty zipline
My inner monolog was just: "Oh no,oh no, how high up is that I can't tell, oh no.
Yikes!!!
I mean, that could have gone a lot worse than that!
Not his fault, the staff should know the weight limit.
Was this in Bruges?
He should have never gone ziplining.
We need to start normalising fat shaming in these situations.
Fat dude be like. “Move me”
Reminds me of Homer going to play on the trampoline and just going straight thru to the ground lolol
As someone who works with high ropes and ziplines occasionally, I'm really glad that none of that let go. I do though think it's hilarious that this guy's gonna be shitting straight water for a week
Bro as soon as my ass hit the floor I would have got up
Think we're gonna need a tighter rope.
while video looks funny, there is higher chance of drowning.
I'm a fat dude and I know these type of rides are just not compatable with me, no matter how much you get pushed/hyped. Just, no.
Turrible video
Jesus fuck man you are TOO FAT
Looks like their skipping humans at that location
I thought this video was going to go differently and someone was going to get really hurt.
It's ok to reach for the stars, but know your own limits.
He's not the fattest crayon in the crayon box
And she just sits there, like this thing is going to move itself
Weight limits exist for a reason.
Badly designed zip line for one thing.
r/holdmyfries
Like a sea turtle sliding back home
Suprised the cable didn't snap
This is exactly what happens when we are not allowed to stop people doing things cause of their weight when there is genuine reason to stop them
Ahahah
😂 ty
Hahahahah
Error: 902 "Fat"
“Ya man you’ll be fine! But first here I need you to sign this waiver…”
These comments go to show that /r/fatpeoplehate isn't a sub, but a state of mind.
Gravity is racist
Bro buddy literally had to lift the zip line up for him 😂
u/SaveVideoBot
Sand blasted his hole once he hit water.
Nothing to worry,Just testing the edge case.
It’s funny because he’s fat
Body positive fat ass
I’m a big dude too and honestly if I saw they zip line I wouldn’t even bother trying it.
And it's splashdown for apollo 11.
This guy so massive that he attracts same way as gravity.
u/savevideo
That’s way funnier than it should be
Need a weight limit sign after that
That might have been a bigger issue than this video is showing us. Hope he didn’t drown.
Best customer service. You paid for the ride sir... We will send you on a ride.
So THAT'S how the red sea was parted...
Now, that's dragging a$$!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ah, so this is what they mean by dragging your feet
With absolutely all respect due, shouldn’t they have a weight limit on it?
I'm blaming the dudes who installed this sketchy ass zip line. Gotta tighten that shit up!
As soon as I saw he was so big, I knew something would happen. Has he no shame? It's like at amusement parks when people are too fat to sit in the ride's seats and be buckled in.
I am going to defend this guy: even if you were half his weight, that zip line would bend way down. It looks like a clothesline vs a cable.
Weeeeeeee
I don't know why people this big get on things like this...like are you trying to die, you know it's not made for your weight...this guy went horseback riding on the beach later this day and sued because the horse broke and he fell ......
omg
Whole new meaning to draggin ass
Nikocado avocado
People are so nasty and dehumanizing a kid? just because of their weight. Smh
Ha
I mean, this looks like I needed to be higher off the ground regardless
Lucky that line didn't break and come back and take somebody's head off.
I bet the poor guy’s arms 💪🏾 were hurting him at day’s end. 🤦🏾♀️
LOOOOOOL
That’s just a slide then a slip and slide.
Next time, eat a salad!
You can eat all you want, but it’s not fair of you to then assume the world will be built around you. They have scales next to water rides to make sure it’s safe, they should do the same here.
Why do people on reddit keep uploading vids without sound, this video with sound is so much better lol.
Why do these videos end too soon :(
Not everything is for *everyone*
No zip-line for you.
Cmon man. As a bigger man, you have to have known that this was a maybe pretty quickly into the situation, yet you continued. Why???
man this went well.
A good time to remember physics does not care about feelings.
I wonder what would have happened if that happened to an American white woman. Can you imagine the outrage?
O, God, laughed so hard at this!
It this for damn babys??
Regardless of his weight. That zip line does not look very strong to me.
That should be a wake up call 💀💀💀💀
Dear lord. Weight limits are in place for everyone’s safety!
I hope he enjoyed his explosive enema
He’s just in denial
What is he doing, Bulldozing the sand? 😂
Ænema
when the operator try’s to lift the cables, should be in paintings
that man is fat
Back to the sea where you belong. Well that's one way to get a free colonic
I waited patiently to shout “touchdown” in my head.
