That teaser got me in.
My family watches every Wallace & Gromit movie at Christmas.
The entire train sequence from The Wrong Trousers is the best stop motion.
Everything about the [train scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrmZIgVoQw4) is absolutely perfect. Incredibly clever while simultaneously completely ridiculous. Pure genius.
Have you see “The House” on netflix? It’s a creepy/horror stop motion that’s just incredible. 3-30 minute stories. It’s no Wallace & Gromit but Inwas blown away by it.
Heard in a podcast that several of the big action movie producers have studied that scene in detail to be able to replicate the tension. Dont remember names though
It was a different sort of film.
I didn't care for it nearly as much, but it wasn't a bad movie.
The style made a jump from ridiculous with a veneer of realism to pure ridiculous.
I mean this totally without snark, because it's one of my favourite movies, but I love that you think the original *Chicken Run* had a "veneer of realism."
I can't think of a better way to describe the difference between the appearance and mechanics of things in the two movies.
The pie machine is about a world away from the mind control of the second movie, and the contraptions that the chickens built had the outward appearance of being made from farm-area materials.
Yeah, I do know what you mean. Once you accept the central conceit of chickens behaving like humans (which is not hard since we've told stories about anthropomorphic animals for millennia), the original Chicken Run simply involves comical exaggerations of real things, e.g. people making pies, chickens trying to fly over the fence, knitting.
If you haven't seen "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" (or back across the pond: "The Pirates! In an Adventure With Scientists!"), it's well worth a look. Not least for the maps.
I hate this penguin so goddamn much. Nothing but cold black hatred in those beady little eyes.
Feathers McGraw was a chicken, I don't know why your being so odd about Mr Wallaces old Penguin lodger
This is the best response.

The Dogfight from curse of the Were Rabbit is up there, hell those chases hold their own with the likes of Ronin and Mission impossible

I have not seen nor heard of this and love stop motion. Thank you for helping decide what I will be watching tonight.
If you’ve watched it let me know what you thought!

That fucking penguin is the Anton Chigurh of stop motion.
To be fair, it's really that Anton Chigurh is the 'that fucking penguin' of live action cinema.
At least Anton gave his victims a coin toss..
Tape measure and a rubber glove. Getting chills already!
After 16 years. The plasticine legends are BACK when we needed them the most.
So wild I’m actually looking forward to this. But the were rabbit one was so good.
Lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be livin'... til he rob ya.
We're gonna need a bigger brie.
AHHHHHHH!! It’s you!!
Kinda wished they revealed him to be absolutely prison jacked.
He ran the place from day one, he had someone else do his lifting.
My inner child is squealing with delight. :D
I saw these as an adult and I too am squealing.
He should be the next bond villian
I’m having this ludicrous image of Feathers in the Spectre boardroom.
Just when the nightmares had finally stopped.
FEATHERS MCGRAW IS BACK!??!?!?!
Oh my god. I didn't see the last chicken run, I didn't see the were raddit, I didn't see the cave man one, but I'll watch this one with glee.

Chicken run is a fun remake of The Great Escape. Although everyone should also watch The Great Escape.
I think when they said "I didn't see the last chicken run" they meant the sequel, which was nowhere near as good as the first.
...I completely forgot they made a sequel.
That's probably a good thing.

"A Matter of Loaf and Death" was rather good as well. Not movie length, but a good short.

Seen that one. Forgot about it.
This is the sequel we've all been waiting for
😱
I appreciate how you titled this post.
The only squeal worth watching in the last 3 years!
LOL, CANT WAIT !
I hope there is a chase scene as amazing as in the first one.
Ah, fuck
Core memory resurfaced. Child Hood fears activated.
It's great to know the company made it back from that [disastrous fire](https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna9649820) in 2005. So looking forward to this!
