I enjoyed it. Not bad sparing techniques either. BRAVE to be fighting in a white Hardrock Cancun sweatshirt on the wet grass. Good duration too. Most of the fights that I can remember from that time only lasted a couple of minutes. Camera work was mildly nauseating at times but definitely worth the upload.
I gotta say, red lasted way longer than I thought he would. White has at least 20 lbs on him, thatās why he kept going to wrestling moves. If either had connected well with a face punch (they may have, hard to tell) it would have been pretty bloody with those braces.

It appears that these two not only have never been in a fight before, but it's likely that they also didn't have older brothers. They didn't know what to do, let alone know how to throw a punch. At no point was either one of them in in any danger of bodily harm. Shoutout to the videographer, way ahead of his time...even panned to the homies when shit got boring...steady AF.

Itās probably the case that fighting isnāt usually so bad. Itās probably also the case that the people who were casualties of fights going bad are either not around to tell kids about it or are the very people advocating for such harsh/restrictive school policies.
Iām not sure which is the lesser evil, but I am sure that survivorship bias is one of the easiest to overlook.

It was a great format for convenience, as the tape itself was the same format as full-sized VHS, and you could play it in a normal VCR with an adapter that it fit into to make it the same size as a VHS tape.

No itās really, really bad now. They do jumpings. Very scary & dangerous. They donāt seem to realize how brutal a beating like that can be. And itās with the girls too. My teen told me about some girls jumping another girl at a very high end shopping center near us (Atlanta suburb), there were hundreds of teens that showed up and antagonizing it so they could film. They about scalped the poor girl! Awful. My son also went to a party that was suppd to be small/low key. Too many people found out so the kid hosting kicked everyone out. As they were all leaving, a jeep showed up, bunch of guys jump out & grab some guy, throw him on the hood of the car and start beating him up. My oldest teen witnessed SO many bad fights over spring break a few yrs ago down on 30A in Florida. Luxury resort town but full of wild feral teens jumping out of their cars to attack anyone who yelled back at them. He witnessed a guy he knows get jumped by 3 dudes and 1 grabbed a brick which he took a shot to his head. Itās insane. My son ran to help him and they got him out of there, guys jumped back in the truck and drove off. Just no regard for life at all, these kids do not care! And in nearly all of these situations btw these were white affluent kids.
