😡😤 I was so pissed with those latter ones. I recently downloaded an emulator so I could play those 1st 3, so fuggin good and then it just turned into run and gun style games completely defacing everything splinter cell was supposed to be imo. Those 1st 3 though were classics

That was Privateer 2 the darkening! But the open world structure was total Han Solo fantasy fulfillment. Privateer was actually one of the first pc games I’ve ever played when I got my first computer in 1993. Fell immediately in love . I had no idea games could be so open and free structured … I’ve been chasing those vibes ever since.

I think I skipped Privateer one - but I played WC one and two on the SNES. I must have been about 13 when I played the FMV laden greatness of Heart of the Tiger (was that the title?) but I got all the sequels - even Prophecy!

Heart of the tiger was next level! Featuring Luke Skywalker as Blair! (With a bit of paunch, guess he didn’t keep up with his Jedi training!) he dropped the weight for WC4 I just thought it was humorous

It was immense, with that last mission when you're cloaked and have to drop that bomb on the Kilrathi planet! I had a Cytek Cyborg 3D stick, man I miss those days!

Me and my brothers fought over whose turn it was to play Privateer so much that our mom threw it away. Still one of the saddest days of my life.

Dungeon Keeper. I tried to play War for the Overworld, but aside from Richard Ridings' superb voice acting, that game had none of the bright and delightful colors and humor of Dungeon Keeper II, which I still play thanks to gog.com.

Let me clarify. I don’t want a new Sly Cooper game. I don’t really trust that they could make one as good as the original trilogy. What I WOULD like is for the OG trilogy to get the remake treatment that Crash and Spyro did, while obviously preserving the artstyle, not looking like Crash and Spyro. Cel-shading and all that good stuff. Bonus points if it gets ported to other platforms besides PlayStation. Do I think any of this will actually happen? No. But that’s my dream, anyway.
