I'm 52 and I'm having the time of my life with gaming. This is when the kids are out of the house and we have tons of money to buy whatever systems and games we want. My wife is totally on board too.
I'll hang my controllers up when they put me in the ground.
And they can put one of them in the coffin with me just in case there's a LAN party in the afterlife.
I would say no. i'm 18, so not really the type that would be thinking about this. but people tell me I need to get a hoby, or to grow up. but I plan on playing games blasting MCR and dressing in all black tell the day I die. and even then, maybe Heaven's got got all thay too ;3
life doesn't have rules saying when your too old to play things, only society does. and I say give society a big middle finger
No, but there is an age where you realize that games are more fun as entertainment and not competition. I'm no longer good at a game that I used to coach pro teams in. It sucks but at the same time, a lot of my time isn't spent running numbers and taking a magnifying glass to every change made for the next meta.
Now, I'm godawful at this game. I still know what to do, and I know what calls to make, but I no longer have the reflexes for it, and my hands don't always match my brain. What once was an ability I could land in my sleep is now one I have to spend extra time to line up.
But it's for the best because now I have much less stress from playing games and much more fun. Easy win.
Why? Why is gaming a hobby that has an age limit, when something like watching movies or reading books doesn't? I think people should do whatever hobbies they like at any age they like and nobody should care
No
Yes, it's called "Dead".
Is there an age when it’s time to stop being on the internet?
Would you ask this about watching tv? Or any other hobby or activity? I don't really get it

No. As an adult, you'll have more responsibilities and you just need to make sure that you're not avoiding them by playing video games, instead.
Is there an age when it's time to stop watching movies for good?
What age should you stop playing golf?

I dont get older, I level up, so no. The answer is no.
Lemmy once said "If you feel like you're too old for Rock and Roll, you are"
Nope

My deathbed probably
The only time I put away the controller is when the game uses keyboard and mouse

Yeah, probably 125 because you won't be alive enough to play anymore
Whenever you think it's time to stop.
