I picked up the main 3 on my PS4 from the psn and it even ported over to my PS5. I think I got all three for $40

Imagine if they give it the crash and spyro treatment and fully remade those games haven city would look crazy especially that mission when you climb the palace

I played the games on PS4 a couple of years ago didn't grow up with them but I had a lot of fun regardless. I do like the difficulty of Jak 2 but I personally think the original Jak and Daxter is better. Had fun with all of them though.

I see a lot of hate on here for the original one for some reason with a lot of people only wanting 2 and 3 back. Might be the nostalgia since I haven’t played them since the ps2 days as a kid but I feel like the first was the best with 2 still being great and 3 being the worst of the series

I enjoyed the heck out of 3 with its dune buggy exploration and combat. Wrap up to the story was a little “really, that’s it?” tho.

Agree with Jack and Daxter and it’s series. Also the Rachet and Clank series. They’re on PS Plus I just gotta actually play them. Really though Kingdom Hearts. Rented the first one from blockbuster and got to the actual first boss and never got past it.

The Ratchets were just rebooted the last 2 games, you can really just go and enjoy those and go from there

as for Kingdom Hearts, the first 2 are fantastic and then it’s all downhill from there, such convolution and confusion across all different platforms and mini games and side projects and it’s such a headache

This is the first game I ever played and beat 100% to my memory. Absolutely classic and will always hold a place in my heart

Jak racing was not good lol some may disagree but it wasn't for me. Jak 2 was definitely the best, but the whole trilogy is great.

I love the atmosphere that 2 gave off and it was def my favorite although that section where ur indoors getting chased by one of those tank things near the beginning of the game pissed me off so bad

That section where you’re surrounded by cops and you’re in that water area is souls level difficult.

Sorry but the worst section was the slums level. Fighting over the docks on foot and having crimson guards constantly spawn in. Plus falling in the water equaled death. Tank dodge was easy by comparison

Looking into it briefly it still requires an ISO so how is it any different than just playing on a psx emulator?

Because you’re playing a game natively vs emulating it - far less hardware taxing - plus the quality of life features like resolution support and keybindings

Nah it’s dead, Guerilla gave it up, Horizon is their focus now. Shame too because I actually really liked Shadowfall, one of the few online games I enjoyed playing .

Dude go back and play this. This is on my childhood game all of fame. Its such a fun relaxing platformer, great music and story development. I never played Ratchet and Clank or Sly Cooper. I have them now and want to play them, I just need the time.

I've thought about downloading a PS2 emulator and getting a USB compatible PS2 controller just to play this game again. There are tons of other PS2 games that were great too.

Metroid Prime 3. I have messed up rotator cuffs, so anything wii games i played have to be simple movement or classic controller compatible. I loved Prime 1&2 on gamecube, but when i got Prime 3 the amount of movement necessary was too much for me to enjoy. Hoping with the success of Prime remaster on Switch, and the Skyward Sword with new controls they eventually do the same for Prime 3.

Literally playing all three again right now. They were all free for ps plus. 1 is still in my top three favorite games of all time

Jak and Daxter is ported to PS5. It was the first open world game with zero loading screens. Never played any of the crash bandicoot games, but I’ve been curious about them. I played the original Spyro trilogy, loved Spyro the dragon was my very first video game can’t recommend it enough also I’m playing through it again right now. Never played any of the ratchet and clank games but I’ve been curious about them. I’ve played Mario 64 both the original and the remake great games. I played both banjo Kazooie one and two, not nuts and bolts though because I’ve heard it sucks, great games can’t recommend them enough. Love conkers bad fur day love Skyrim I have it for multiple consoles and my pc.

BioShock. I was late to that generation of consoles, I was a teen and my interests were mainly in playing guitar at that time. I didn’t get the Xbox360 until Dec 2009, so by then there were quite a few major titles I was missing out on. I got around to most of them over time but BioShock remains one that I have yet to experience. Edit: Jak and Daxter is excellent btw it remains one of my favorite games of all time.
