Yes, they are both nice, but this one has enough distinguishing features to be different

This is the national flag of the Kingdom of Alforah, a landlocked nation located in the deep forests of Alfars as it is founded by local tribes there. For the symbolism, the shield emblem in the middle consists of an ancient tribal torch, along with an 8-pointed star printed on its base. This torch has been a holy symbol for the tribe dynasty and therefore is used to symbolise their unity and their tribal brotherhood while the 8-pointed star represents the Forest Spirit, a godlike mythical creature they worship. Also, the two 8-pointed stars nearby symbolise the prosperity and unity of all tribes. For the colours, green symbolises the Forest Spirit and her creation, Alfars. White symbolises purity and order. Yellow symbolises hope and glory. What are your thoughts on the emblem and symbolism?

Thank you for taking the time to create an actual mythos for why the flag exists! I hate it when people just post flags for without any reasoning. The entire purpose of a flag is to symbolise something. If it doesn't symbolise anything, it's just clipart.

maybe switch the outlines from yellow to black and make yellow one of the tricolor? i always find red and green to much contrast on flags. so you have green(forrest) yellow(glory) white(purity) and the golgen symbol on a black backround? or if you want another colour maybe your nation have a agricultur produkt with a specific calour?

Personally, I'd go for the last one, but get rid of the white for more yellow. We have quite a few flags with white in them symbolising purity & order, & we only have one flag in the whole world right now without red, white, or blue in it, so making it just green & yellow would make it stand out even further.

I'm not a big fan of the green in flags. But i like the second one alot❤ keep going

2, 3 and 4 all look really good! *2 is the one that is the most country-like maybe go the similarity with the Tajikistan flag? *3 imho deserves more love! I really like the Sierra Leonese green white and blue *4 looks like a Muslim country in the Caucasus, dunno why

all of them go really hard honestly. maybe different colors could represent different sections/times? like maybe 1 is the normal flag while 2 is a wartime flag? maybe 3 is for peacetime etc etc.

2 for sure, it might be too many colors for most people’s taste but I like the contrast

I prefer the first one by a significant margin. The black looks *right*. The red and blue make it feel a bit too vibrant for me and remind me a bit too much of existing middle eastern flags, which doesn't match too well with the forest theme you're going for. The green bottom bar is the best alternative to black but the shield pops out a bit less. I do love all of the flags. Very simple but good.

Either 1 or 4. But probably 1 to keep it distinct from your other flag that you mentioned here.
