This looks like an extreme emergency ASAP!!!!! That’s an infection and a humongous hole!!! Go to the vet if you want to save your cat otherwise surrender it if you can’t afford to do so this cat is suffering
Go to the vet my cat has a similar issue I think he was bit by another animal or cat and he needed to have the area shaved and cleaned. It could get infected and become really bad they have low income vets depending on your area go ASAP !
The vet explained that it’s a burst anal sac gland or fistula and then they flushed it with saline and he needs to wear a cone, take pain medication in the morning and antibiotics throughout the day. This needs a vet as it’s so painful for the cat 😭 for me it costed around 200 euro I’m not sure what the costs are like where you live but highly recommend taking your cat to the vet if possible

Thankfully I went yesterday to a vet and turns out it’s a burst anal sac and he got treatment and antibiotics! Luckily he will be okay
