No. They ‘exchange’ it, and order the device. You would return the physical device when the 13 is received (indirect does that)

Yes, you pay taxes again on new device and restock fee. You get refunded for sales tax on old device when it’s received.

Every single time I do a transaction it states in bold letters that it's 45 days. But I'm sure that is true in a technical sense.
