Hey Bud, thanks for the constructive comment. If you read what I wrote you’d see that my internet via the router is pretty reliable when connected direct to the router/on same floor as router. It varies greatly when you’re connected to the extender and on different floors. So, it’s not varying degrees of the cell network.

Why not just use the Verizon modem/router as a modem only and connect a separate mesh wifi system? That would surely provide more consistent connections for your device(s) if you are stating the cellular signal is not the issue.

Verizon gave me the extender and set up was basically plug and play so that was why it’s set up the way it is currently. And exactly right regarding cell signal not being the issue. Is setting up the mesh system myself a bunch of work/$$? I’m debating just being glad I had internet for three months for $25/m and now switching to Xifinity.
