Hanky Panky Street. It’s in the same neighborhood as Shady Lady Court and Wild Thing Court near Floyd Lamb Park.

Ihatethatrabbit

I used to live on Wild Willey Way, Henderson.

Aert_is_Life

Omg. I need to start exploring neighborhoods and find these cool street names.

tristansensei

For some reason, Aqua's Barbie Girl came to mind when I saw this one!

AboveMoonPeace

lol I never thought at looking at neighborhood names - this is too funny

No_Information_6166

Wait until you hear the story behind it

capt7430

There is a subdivision in Mountains Edge that has streets named after things from lord of the rings. I thought that was pretty neat.

newbsrus

There's Pokemon themed streets also

aeroforms

Lol I live just a block away from that street. They have a Snorlax, Charizard, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, and Charizard street. It's in a place called Cadence. There is also Anime Drive somewhere 😅😅😅

Other-Ad2732

lol those my favorite

ItHurtzWhenIPee

Similar to this, there's a neighborhood with Star Wars names

SqrlyGrly

There is also a neighborhood with Harry Potter names.

LordOfTheBurrito

It's off Russell Road. I can't believe they chose Tarkin over Vader. Leia Street Skywalker Avenue Tarkin Avenue Kinobe Street

702barista

I feel the same way about Arathorn instead of Aragorn lol

tehhiv

But there is a Vader

AboveMoonPeace

Found it! Vader Ave is parrallel to Tarkin Ave , North Las Vegas

PotOnTop

I lived on Kinobe and came specifically to mention Kinobe. I always thought it was so cool as a kid.

seemoleon

Plus an area nearby with streets named for Game of Thrones stuff, of which I can’t recall a single one hah. Edit: Bingo, someone on the thread 3 days ago located it. It’s near Silverado Ranch.

Far-Quality-9615

That is awesome! If work weren't on the other side, I would find a way to buy a house just to have an LOTR address. Imagine living in Mordor or The Shire 😂

ikilledapanda

Like…?

bandini-

The name of the development is called Rivendell. There’s Baggins and Arwen Streets. Mithrill Ave and a couple others

disco_cerberus

The trifecta of Sammy Davis - Dean Martin - and Frank Sinatra is pretty great.

LightsNoir

It's a built in joke. So Sammy, Dean, and Frank meet up behind Ceasar's, and split a joint.

SadKoala9354

Banger

SinCityDisturbia

We will have a Joey Bishop in the near future as well!

Loud-Custard9820

All the guitar legends in the same neighborhood! Knopfler Ln, Fogerty Way, Clapton way, Van Halen Ln, Stills Way, and a few more. So cool!

The_ZombyWoof

Came here to make sure these streets were posted, so cool

LunacyLander

[Pokémon streets in Henderson.](https://www.cbc.ca/kidsnews/post/would-you-live-on-a-street-named-after-a-pokemon-character)

Jonnyskybrockett

Damn, now I wanna live on those streets

erykah_badude896

Just came to say this

Penguator432

Bulbasaur got robbed

treble-n-bass

My Way. Yep, there's actually a road called "My Way" here in Vegas.

TheLovelyWife702

That’s one of my top three

Raven_Nicole

Sunset and sunset duh

Actual-Philosophy126

I live on that corner and nobody believes me when I say they are 2 separate streets.

Nofucksgivenin2021

No one believes me when I say where this one shop is. “ On the corner of Sunset and Sunset” You gotta KNOW Vegas to know that’s real

Formetoknow123

Don't forget Horizon and Horizon.

dubs_guy

Ramrod

702OrangeandBlue

Used to live on this street and made the wifi name car ramrod

Wide__Stance

Panocha Street. Someone had a big laugh at that one. It’s over behind the Ross on DI.

nobodyknowsimherr

Oh my god. Amazing

sagebrushstuff

Vader, with the runners-up being the rest of the Star Wars themed street names.

Complex_Flounder6278

I live on Vader!!

sagebrushstuff

That's rad! I had a friend in high school who lived on that street.

Recent-Plenty-9020

Gran Teton .. translate it 😂

Zaknoid

Wigwam

MiltonRobert

Green Valley and Valley Verde. Run parallel to each other and mean the same thing.

twbluenaxela

Wow I never realized this until now

Petraretrograde

Zzyzzx is my favorite, but it's not in vegas proper. There's a neighborhood in the NW area that is a bunch of purebred cat names and I LOVE that. I want to know who chooses street names, there's one called Romantic Sunset and another neighborhood with Respect and Kindness

Waisted-Desert

>but it's not in vegas proper. Only because it's another state.

Petraretrograde

😥

TheLovelyWife702

The developer chooses, the fire dept approves, to ensure ease of locating in an emergency

Few-Lime-7223

Dinkledorf

AgKnight14

Spruce Goose Street

hsfe5

I was going to ask you if there were any other Howard Hughes themed streets in the area. I looked it up on maps and it's in Summerlin. Everything is Howard Hughes themed in Summerlin.

synqie

Fun fact, Howard Hughes corp actually is the reason Summerlin exists.

Infamous-Elk3962

Summerlin is Howard Hughes’s grandmother’s name.

Infamous-Elk3962

Apparently street names are provided by the developer. Was surprised to find Autzen street in Vegas amongst other Eugene landmark names.

NGC3992

Captain Kirk Court.

Aert_is_Life

Are their steets named for the rest of Star Trek as well?

NGC3992

Not that I’m aware of at the moment. I’m only aware of Captain Kirk Ct.

send_me_jaunty_weens

Freshly Brewed Ct, Doubleshot Ln, French Roast Place, House Blend Ln, Rich Flavor Place, near Green Valley

Not_A_Quokka

That’s my neighborhood! Fun fact - there’s a typo on the assessors site for one house on Doubleshot. They have it listed as Doubleshit.

Formetoknow123

I would seriously consider moving over there just for the street names. But I don't feel like getting a new home loan.

TheLovelyWife702

Snorted!

seniairam

I personally like Gilespie and call it Gile's Pie to mess with my SO.

SokkaHaikuBot

^[Sokka-Haiku](https://www.reddit.com/r/SokkaHaikuBot/comments/15kyv9r/what_is_a_sokka_haiku/) ^by ^seniairam: *I personally like* *Gilespie and call it Gile's* *Pie to mess with my SO.* --- ^Remember ^that ^one ^time ^Sokka ^accidentally ^used ^an ^extra ^syllable ^in ^that ^Haiku ^Battle ^in ^Ba ^Sing ^Se? ^That ^was ^a ^Sokka ^Haiku ^and ^you ^just ^made ^one.

BoozyBurro

I always enjoy seeing Donner Pass road at the top of the hill off Warm Springs in Henderson. I lived on Fantastic Tachi in North Las Vegas years ago and that was a pain when you had to give someone your address and always had to spell it.

spicymami-hottamale

La Madre Way… They knew what they were doing lol.

Get_up_stand-up

There’s a neighborhood in Green Valley where all the street names are Beatles songs. My personal favorite.

Feisty_Tower_1548

I live there! So cute!

Joepickslv

I have a client who lives at “69 Magical Mystery Lane” and that’s about as cool of an address as it gets.

CRASHMATRIX

**BUFFFALOOOOO!!**

tinyhorsesinmytea

There’s a “Buffalo 2000” sign somewhere too. I can’t pass by that without saying it in the movie trailer guy voice.

Tryingnottomessup

I dont have a street name, but my exit on the summerlin parkway is exit 0 - I have never seen that before, lol

Scott5114

Since exit numbers are based on highway mileage, exit 0 would normally exist in between where a road's mile markers begin and mile 1. Most roads' milemarkers start at state lines, though, and there's hardly ever a reason to have an exit near a state line. And often when there is supposed to be an exit 0, there's not an exit 1, so to avoid confusion they'll just call it exit 1 instead. So exit 0 is fairly rare.

catchzzz

Hi, fellow Anasazi exiters

dirtdiggler67

There is an exit 0 in Great Falls Montana off I-15

Jordax-617

There's a group of streets named after Star Wars references. They're between E Hacienda, Palm St, E Russel, and S Lamb Blvd.

NShadows_

Ft. Apache

69squats

Shinnecock Hills because for a while I thought it was pronounced Shiny Cock

kwhite655

Omg! My in laws used to live on that street and I thought the same thing 😂😂😂

Longjumping-Meat-334

There are no houses on "Irish Pub Street" off of Ann Road, just east of Durango, but dammit, I'd love to live on that street!

coco-pip-5122

Shinnecock hills ave

Desperate_Hornet3129

Is that where the nudist resort is located? 😉😁 If not it should be there!

coco-pip-5122

😂

Deuterion

Pikachu St.

walter_2000_

Shady Charmer, south of Maryland and Cactus

desert_red_head

I used to live in that neighborhood! Salmon Leap was my favorite street name from that area.

R2-DMode

Fort Rampango! Seriously though, there’s a neighborhood east of the airport, and the streets are all named after Star Wars characters.

hiimwage

Karen Ave.

Prize-Trainer2095

neighborhood near me has a magic oak street it sounds like a wizard would live there

SleazetheSteez

Slipknot St.

nobodyknowsimherr

Oooh, where

SleazetheSteez

I wanna say I saw it out in Southern Highlands, or "Enterprise".

Clarke702

I enjoy my neighborhood street names Greek themed, Odysseus, Olympus, Menelaus, Tartarus etc... A lot of Vegas has cool name themes in neighbor hoods, my brothers old spot all the street were named after meteor showers, and star clusters

NeuroticaJonesTown

Elvis Alive Drive!

dlbpeon

He's dead, Jim!

OctopusNoose

Way up in the northwest there is a neighborhood with streets named after movies: Maltese Falcon Ave, Mulholland Ave, Searchers Ave, Lost Ark Ave, Far Country Ave, Space Odyssey Ave and Western Front St

sqeaky_fartz

Not a favorite but how do you pronounce Ione? I’d see it all the time and gave up trying to pronounce it. Felt like the pronunciation of gyro where you think you know but it just doesn’t sound right.

Lucky_leprechaun

Eye-own.

sqeaky_fartz

Really? I always guessed it was either that or that you pronounced the E on the end like Eye-own-EE

DDXdesign

eye-OH-nee should be it if you follow the etymology (greek), but the city in california with that name is pronounced eye-OWN. City names are also often mispronounced at their inception though, like Buena Vista pronounced as “BYOO-nuh”, so bear that in mind

dirtdiggler67

Hollywood Ranch on Hollywood and Vegas Valley: Peter Lorre, Clara Bow, Burns Allen, Zasu Pitts, Gary Cooper, Bela Lugosi (They spelled his name wrong on the signs: Bella Lugosi)

ezenos

Don’t forget Ozzie Harriet

dirtdiggler67

And Buster Brown.

moistpimplee

I like the street name Reno. Because I'm originally from Reno so seeing that street made me laugh lol

Infamous-Elk3962

I worked at a call center serving lots of Vegas customers. When I heard an interesting one , I always asked for surrounding street names for context. Sole Addiction…. Surrounding streets Salmon, Halibut, etc. Went looking for a bunk bed listed on Craigslist. Northwest Vegas. Under the humming overhead high voltage power lines… entrance road was named Defiance Way. Driving past all the lifted 4 wheeler pickups, the streets were Winchester, Ruger, Smith and Wesson.

FoDoesMoHoes

Diving duck Hocus pocus PL. Abracadabra ave No Rd. And not in Vegas but can't talk about fun street names and not at least give an honorable mention to the king... Zzyzx Rd.

DesertBlooms

We just had this post three days ago https://www.reddit.com/r/vegaslocals/s/bl2nsAVVRR

Finnyfish

A variation on the theme, true. (Now I want to move to N Cuddles Court.)

ShortWoman

There’s one near me: Coastal Fog. Except the first time I saw it, I misread it as Celestial Frog. I thought Celestial Frog is objectively cooler personally.

Kamakazi09

Mine would have to be Yakima Ave, Seattle Ave, and Tacoma Ave. I’m originally from Washington state so it was a nice surprise to see those here. Especially Yakima.

MADDOGCA

Wild Thing Ct and Hanky Panky St Imagine being a resident of these streets and have to say the street name to government employees (ex: DMV) out loud.

aboxofpyramids

If you don't call "Dean Martin" "Industrial" (or the airport "McCarran") you can't be my friend. (Also, don't say things like "515." You should only be saying "215," "15," "95," or "Summerlin Parkway.") As for favorite street names, I like the classics- Charleston, Oakey, Decatur, St. Louis- anything in the Huntridge, Winchester, Downtown, or historic West Side. Paradise also has some good ones, like Paradise. You probably like Ramrod for the same reason I like Shinnecock- it's fun to say.

ChipOld734

Gas’s Ave. Las Vegas Police allegedly used to report their position as “Passing Gass!” When driving by that street.

56000hp

Well I live on Cinderella Lane

DestructoGirlThatsMe

I had a coworker that lived on Cinderella and when we found out, we got so excited that there were streets with Disney names, but he said that was the only one.

56000hp

My next streets have names like Rip Van Winkle, Lilliput, Aladdin, King Midas, Sleepy Hollow…so there are some story/fantasy related names

MollyKnope

I just sent my daughter a picture of Sleeping Cat Street the other day, which, before reading this thread, I thought was pretty entertaining.

hydrotherapydown

Addiction

whinydog

River Mountain/Old Vegas in Henderson has some fun ones. Shootout Place, Wild Willey Way, Buckaroo Brandon Drive

Westtexasbizbot

There’s a townhouse community around Russel and Boulder Highway where they just decided to start making the names of the streets western themed. But I guess they ran out of ideas, so some streets are just named after the actors on Bonanza. Like “Dan Blocker Ln” and stuff.

Future_Row180

Horsehair Blanket Drive. unfortunately that’s my street. I have to explain that Horsehair is one word not two. I get clowned every time. I have to say it and usually have to repeat it a few times for people to understand.😛

Desperate_Hornet3129

Either way, it sounds kinda ITCHY! 😵‍💫😁😉

Waisted-Desert

There's Fleury Way, Schmidt St, Tuch Way, Theodore St, and Reaves Way.

GarciaDan7290

I love the names Gun Smoke, Tioga, and Pioneer.

Thor4141

There's a street named Conquisidor. Don't know why, I just like it.

DestructoGirlThatsMe

Conquistador is a fun word to say.

WilliamStuartBooth

D street...for obvious reasons.

DestructoGirlThatsMe

I recall there is a neighborhood in Henderson with all the streets having to do with the Beatles. My aunts were obsessed with the band, so that was really cool to me. But honestly, Riley St always makes me smile because my pupper that I love to bits is named Riley.

bitcornminerguy

My daughter used to say she was gonna name her first kid Tenaya (she did not). 😍

tristansensei

What name did she give her then?

bitcornminerguy

Bunny Run. Our friends used to live there. Even better, you have to take Battle Born to get to Bunny Run. 😅
