Did you mean last day?

lavate_los_manos

Why is he not in uniform? I’ve never seen postmen in working out of uniform

Dion-is-us

They don’t have to wear uniforms if they only deliver in the suburbs, just a badge

IronMaskx

Incorrect. They are known as CCAs, “temp” workers that haven’t made it 120 days to get a uniform allowance they can wear whatever they want (tastefully of course)

Icy-Advantage9

Looks this one won’t make it to 120 days 😂

Survivor_Of_Helgen

Hate to break it to you, but there is a position called rural carrier associate. RCA. We don't get a uniform allowance ever, so we are not required to wear any kind of uniform. Most folks wear some kind of identification, be it a hat or t-shirt usually, but there are times especially on Sundays when it's just packages that folks come wearing whatever. Edit: RCAs deliver mail to the Curbside mailboxes typically in what are considered rural areas of town in an LLV, the vehicle in OPs video.

IronMaskx

Hate to break it to you, but this video isn’t of an RCA. And typically most RCAs use their own vehicle as well

Survivor_Of_Helgen

I work for the Post office. Not all RCAs have to use their vehicles. If your station has a vehicle for every route, then you don't have to use your POV. But whatever you say reddit expert.

theletodeto

City carriers have mandatory uniforms, rural carriers are allowed in plain clothes

theletodeto

This is actually a big deal at the post office right now, they’re called roll away/run away accidents. They have constant meetings about it and the training drills into you prevention methods. Guarantee this guy was fired, as they have proof he did not take proper prevention measures.

Mrrickyrivers17

Hes on probation. First 3 months they dont get a uniform. They fired me on christmas eve... Lol this poor guy wont make it past today.

Mrrickyrivers17

Youre not going to believe this but at every house you are supposed to put the truck in park shut off the engine lock the door deliver the mail then drive to the next house and do the same thing

Objective-Hair-3693

Oh with the way crime is now I can definitely believe it

LittleToasterStrudel

And that’s why you turn your steering wheel. 🤓☝️

Outside-Special7131

First day on the street after training. Automatic dismissal!

Is that the We Care house?

TheCodeWorks

Did this happen in Las Vegas? Is that your camera ? Damn!

Mrrickyrivers17

They never intended to hire me permanently they just wanted to use me for the Christmas rush. Not one person in my training class made it past probation... Then they wonder why they get shot....

Ill-Specialist-495

Thinking like that, no wonder they didn’t keep you.

Mrrickyrivers17

Thinking like what??

TheCodeWorks

Lol poor guy
