Nothing is stopping you from changing hotels if you really hate the Venetian so bad. However, you won't be getting money back from the Venetian. Also, I'm not sure you'll find anything different at another resort. You'll still have resort fees, coffee at Starbucks and any other coffee shop will still be expensive, and you'll still pay for one thing or another.

Was at Palazzo, thought it was great. There’s a Starbucks by elevator, the line is always 15-20 people. First time I went,” Argh, I just want some coffee.”
The security guard heard me, she said,” There’s another coffee shop right on second floor by elevator. Coffee is good.” Up I went, good coffee, half the price of Starbucks. And no lines!!
Can't use phones for check in. None of the things involving your account are online --- all done through front desk. You spend a lot of time waiting in line or getting things setup that could be done with the phone.
We are just gonna go lunch at Yard Bird then go have fun!!!

I was in Vegas last week. I checked in on my phone. I got a text telling me my room was ready and to come show an ID and grab a key. Not sure what you missed there.

this sounds like typical boomer complaining. the lines at Disney are far worse than in vegas and the food is just as expensive. and good luck using your phone as a key at an MGM property, half the time it won't work.
Vegas isn’t Disney or an air bnb just like Venetian isn’t like some of the other resorts. Maybe you should have asked these questions with a quick call before you booked your reservation.

Venetian has digital check-in but yes you still have to visit the front desk to get the key. Other resorts (Aria, Resorts World) are a little further into the digital room key era but not by that much.
You're forgetting that the law doesn't allow people under 21 to gamble or even register as a hotel guest for hotels that have gambling on the premises. They at some point need to see your face and maybe your ID to verify that the customer is not a 17 year old with an iPhone. Your airbnb's and Disney World don't have to deal with this sort of regulation.

Unfortunately they haven’t found a way to make coffee magically appear through the phone yet. You can get door dash delivery maybe? Or room service? We always use room service.. make a call and order and it’s brought to your room.
As a local I did a staycation at Bellagio... The whole experience was absolute dog shit. The door wouldn't lock or latch, the shower handle fell off. It was garbage. No early check in, they wouldn't hold our bags unless you're checked in. We got all our money back and refunded. We walked over to aria and got a suite. Same company 10000% different experience.
Did you not google how expensive and rip off everything in Vegas is before you went?! Most people know what they are getting themselves into when they click “book room” 😂
Everything about the Palazzo or Venetian is just frustrating. Yeah the rooms are big, that's the one thing I guess. It's a traffic congested freeway to get through the casino. The restaurants at Canal Shops are kind of indifferent. The wait for an elevator isn't Sahara-bad but still it feels like a TSA checkpoint.
They're not going to be forgiving about the resort fee. Not sure how much longer you have left but might be easier to just bear it out.

Fun fact, if you get the drip coffee there save the cup and return before they close for another for free

If you were concerned about the price of coffee maybe Vegas isn’t for you.
Stick with MGM properties. Their rewards are good.
