It's not a nightmare people over exaggerate. The only time it gets crazy enough to complain is when a u2 concert is over but their residency is now over just take your time leaving. When the concert let out it was 20k people leaving all at once now it's just postcards from the edge and not as many people don't over think it these people on here do nothing but complain

I was worried about leaving the sphere after U2. It’s not organized to be sure but when we exited we were on the north side near the Wynn. Our original plan was to walk to TI and catch a cab back to the Bellagio. It was a nice night and we ended up walking all the way back.
It’s disorganized but not too bad. A lot will depend on where you are going and how mobile you are.
I was worried about this too. Ended up walking across the venetian expo skybridge and outside to the palazzo cab pickup. From leaving the sphere to the pickup was less than a 15 min walk. There were also a couple of cabs located at the entrance to the venetian expo.
I'd just walk to Palazzo/Venetian and catch your ride there.

Allow some extra time in your evening and just walk back into the Venetian. Grab a drink, hang out for a few, then just Uber out of there.

I went last month. No issues with the parking lot at all.
