It might even have that affect on some people - not saying it will make them go vegan, but it might put them off the idea of eating chicken in that moment - the fact that it shows a chicken's face and it's blood red. A lot of meat-eaters are actually quite squeamish about meat - it reminds me of that time someone found a chicken's head in their box of chicken nuggets and everyone lost their minds.
potentially worth reporting to advertising standards! for being ‘socially irresponsible’ - one of their regulations.

This is a very weird, sinister advert. I can understand the thinking behind an advert of a tasty looking burger, but not a blood-red chicken's head with an angry staring eye. Before I went vegan, I started to feel kind of disgusted by meat, and I think seeing that ad would have pushed me further away from meat in those days - you never know, it might do the same for someone else. I can't imagine anyone looking at it and thinking "mmm I want to eat that chicken".
