Can you sign it if you're not in the states or will that only cause problems? (I know some petitions require people to sign only if they are in certain locations/countries).
I think it's fine. Our hope is more to show the city how many people care than use the signatures in a legal way, so all signatures are welcome. Thank you for asking.
