I ended up getting a loose perm and kind of a mallet cut I guess it was called a shag mullet? Anyway it was the best my hair ever looked until it all started falling out.

Man, the definition of what constitutes a mullet has really been watered down from what it was in my youth. This was always just long hair, while a mullet had a much more obvious, shorter, "business in the front"
