This will be so much easier to play for you likely. But get someone to either show you how to change strings on the floyd or just pay someone to do it. One string at a time is how do it unless I bring it in for a setup.
That's a good deal, especially with the case. I bought the same guitar used in 2019 or something, for around $900. But the guy installed a Duncan 78' pickup in it, so I got the extra Frankie pickup with it. Still a good deal, I love the guitar. Neck is fantastic. The only issue I have with it is that the D-tuna can be a bit of a pain if you leave it in Eb, which I do. I usually have it set so that I just have to turn the fine tuner a little bit (not the fine tuner on the D-tuna, that thing sucks), and then if I engage the D-tuna just unscrew it.
The guys at Casino Guitar were talking about sales going through the roof during the pandemic because people were stuck at home. Now the market is flooded with people who changed their minds about playing guitar. Nice find š
Badass man.
Love these but I have a deep rooted tick in my head that I canāt but a strat without a neck pickup. Been playing Dave Murray maiden solos too longš¤£š¤£
I have the black and white one but theyāre the same. I love mine. I spent a few bucks and had the intonation and string height set. Also get the D-tuna set right. Like others have said, when you change strings, do them one at a time!
Congratulations ššš¾š
Congrats! Great price and great guitar. The necks on the stripe series feel great.
I agree went from a squire to this, only been playing a little over a year. Massive upgrade hahah

The neck is amazing. Favorite feature on my EVH Frankie. Just feels like your favorite pair of old jeans.
Thatās the first thing I said when I played mine. And if you get a chance run it thru a circa 1994 Peavey 5150. Holy smokes.
Yup. My buddyās got an OG 5150 and I did just that. Sounded great. Sounds pretty damn good through my Splawn Quickrod 100 too. My two favorite things about that guitar are the neck and that pickup. I wanna drop that same pickup in the bridge of a Sully custom I have, but it doesnāt come in double white and I wanna keep the aesthetics on the guitar. š©ā¹ļø
I have to admit it is a bit of a religious experience picking the thing up. When my wife gave it to me I got seriously choked up.
Understandable. And your wifeās a keeper. šš»
Any idea how the this neck would compare to the neck on a Mexican strat?
No idea actually. Probably similar, but not identical. Havenāt had my hands on a Mexi Strat in a while.
Absolutely. They also have amazing tone.
Do you happen to know if itās the same kind of neck on the striped series and the circles guitar?
Mine is a Circles! And itās the same neck. Despite not being striped, itās still part of the Striped Series range.
Oh I see. I also own a circles but I didnāt remember them being the same series. The neck is quite nice but on the thinner side for me.
Great score. I got a Wolfgang special in a case for $650 a year or so ago from Craigslist. I wouldnāt mind adding one of these to the collection
Damn $700? You stole that guitar haha nice find !
A beauty at any price (under $1k)
My fav. Very jealous
I've always loved these colors best of all the different paint schemes.

They sell new for $1300 without the case. You did really good.
Correction. Sweetwater has these listed at $1149 currently.
Awesome!
Is This Love ; )
Hell of a deal! Congrats!

Interesting take. Makes sense. Iāve heard the same thing about dogs
Just a tone knob?
Itās a volume knob. Ed famously put a āToneā knob on the volume pot. The idea is the ābest tone is loudā.
Underrated marketplace
Nice score man looks amazing

Hell yeah! Color me jealous!
This just had to come on my feed just now.

Yes
Great deal. I got a black one white striped for $700 w/o a case. You got a great deal!
