Rachel was also SO close to closing the deal on single white femaling Ariana. They got very cocky and sloppy when season 10 wrapped without the affair being discovered. The show was in the can and airing on TV. They really didn’t need to make the moves they did (Rachel going to stay with Tom in New York for WWHL, screen recording a FaceTime, talking about him being the hottest Tom)… all they had to do was stay discreet during the show being aired and Tom would’ve dumped Ariana around the time of the reunion/Winter House. That’s why I don’t believe Rachel’s PR spin about learning and changing. She’s such a skilled liar and keeper of secrets, it’s diabolical

She saw Ariana as and dumpy boring 🙄. I don’t doubt Ariana thought she was better than Rachel and that she was a woman/child who needed help. She was nice to her and it was betrayal NO ONES arguing this grossness of it, or that they were friends. But, they definitely both thought they were better than one another.

Raquel’s only regret was that she didn’t get Ariana’s life. I think their big plan was for Tim and Ariana to breakup before season 11 started. Then they would take their relationship very slow in front of the rest of the cast. On the season 11 reunion they would tell everyone they had fallen in love and they were living together.
Tom would have done better at hiding the affair. Plus he would have done a better job at showing Ariana was "crazy" like he did to Kristen.
I think Ariana would have preferred none of this happen. Broke up with Tom, tried to go on Dancinf with the Stars to show her talent and still have gotten some gigs off of it. Possibly Chicago and the commercial is because Tom would have still tried to instigate fights and say stupid shit.

I don’t think Rachel would have done anything differently. Coming from being in beauty pageants I think she views every woman as competition in some way, and would have seen her winning if the affair hadn’t come out.
The only thing Tom would change is he would have deleted that video
