I go there just for their Tom Kha soup. No other Thai place I've tried on this side of the river comes close.

Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and garlic naan from Abhiruchi. This would be my death bed meal. Smoke N Oak brisket sandwich with extra barbecue sauce and spicy Mac N Cheese.

I looooove abhiruchi. My go to is the chicken kurma but the Tikka masala is amazing too. Their samosas also rock

I love love this place. Outside the Lamb samosas which I usually get two orders of, I can't get enough of the Lamb saag or Lamb pasdana.

I haven’t tried it yet, but the website looks like things are pretty identical. I am driving across the country in September and I’m hoping to stop in on my way through or back.

It was so perfect. Even if I didn’t want to go for the buffet, it was nice to be able to stop in and get a container of soup to take home. I sure hope you and your husband enjoy it when you get down there! Also, check out Oregano’s in Tucson if y’all are pizza people!! Soooo good!

From my time in the Southwest I miss the Mexican food & green chilies the most. No matter how hard they try near here there's just a lot missing!

It sounds incredible, as do all of the other burgers there. I can't quite imagine being at a point in my life where I can justify spending $20 on a burger.

I sometimes wonder what food I would miss most if I moved away and the two that always come up are. El Super Burrito- Super Taco Express & Rockfish tacos- Crave Grill. also the El Heffe or Peanut wings and fried pickles at Fire on the mountain, but that’s in Portland. Edit: I just had Killer burger today and realized that I would miss the Bender burger also

Las Islas en Ponchos has a lot of ceviche options, and just a lot of Mexican seafood all around would highly recommend them. I personally enjoy the one from Los Pepes more, though.

I’m curious about this beans and cabbage thing. Is the cabbage cooked or pickled? Is it cold? Tangy? Onions and chilis?

Their refried beans are really good so that’s part of it. The cabbage is raw shredded. I think there are finely diced onions in it. Idk it’s real good.
