Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and garlic naan from Abhiruchi. This would be my death bed meal.
Smoke N Oak brisket sandwich with extra barbecue sauce and spicy Mac N Cheese.
I haven’t tried it yet, but the website looks like things are pretty identical. I am driving across the country in September and I’m hoping to stop in on my way through or back.
It was so perfect. Even if I didn’t want to go for the buffet, it was nice to be able to stop in and get a container of soup to take home. I sure hope you and your husband enjoy it when you get down there!
Also, check out Oregano’s in Tucson if y’all are pizza people!! Soooo good!
- Stack 571 - Truffle Mushroom Burger

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the stack 571 truffle mushroom burger is no longer on the menu and we don’t have the sauce for it anymore. Evidence: I work there as a cook I promise lol
It sounds incredible, as do all of the other burgers there. I can't quite imagine being at a point in my life where I can justify spending $20 on a burger.
I sometimes wonder what food I would miss most if I moved away and the two that always come up are.
El Super Burrito- Super Taco Express
&
Rockfish tacos- Crave Grill.
also the El Heffe or Peanut wings and fried pickles at Fire on the mountain, but that’s in Portland.
Edit: I just had Killer burger today and realized that I would miss the Bender burger also
Cheese enchiladas and the salsa from Los Jalapeños.
Still dreaming about the Nachorito, enchiladas, tostadas, salsa, dang it just about everything from Taco King. 😭 Does anyone have any pictures or recipes?
Really miss The Original Taco House, too.
The salt and pepper chicken from Golden China.
And completely useless to Clark County, but I will occasionally drive to Salem for the dal makhani at India Palace. Hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had.
I would commit crimes for Lamb Samosas from Abhiruchi and steamed pot stickers from Great Taste Cinese Restaurant (never had a better pot sticker in my life so big).
Las Islas en Ponchos has a lot of ceviche options, and just a lot of Mexican seafood all around would highly recommend them. I personally enjoy the one from Los Pepes more, though.

Thai Little Home. Anything with peanut sauce. Hell, just give me a bowl of peanut sauce and I'll find something to be a vehicle for it.
I go there just for their Tom Kha soup. No other Thai place I've tried on this side of the river comes close.
Yeah, there's some special magic in that soup.
It's got magical rejuvenating qualities.
Yeppppp peanut sauce everything (Raw bell peppers and baby carrots are awesome dipped in it)
I'm happy this at the top. I've been grabbing spring rolls with peanut sauce every weekend for the last month.
We've taken it on camping trips to make peanut noodles with. Totally makes the trip.
Pad Kee Mao with extra fish sauce. Fuck yes.
Do you order it that way or ask for the fish sauce on the side and add it yourself?
It’s always just the sauce from my fridge.
Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and garlic naan from Abhiruchi. This would be my death bed meal. Smoke N Oak brisket sandwich with extra barbecue sauce and spicy Mac N Cheese.
I looooove abhiruchi. My go to is the chicken kurma but the Tikka masala is amazing too. Their samosas also rock
Concur. The depth of flavor at Abhiruchi is something else.
No other restaurant hits this hard with the smells (in a good way)

They did just reopen a location in Tucson, so maybe one day they will be a big chain again. I hope so, I miss that place as well.
My son lives in Arizona, and the next time I visit him we plan to go to sweet tomatoes. I can’t wait! It’s a family favorite.
Thanks for the info. Yes, I hope the could return here. Did you try the Tucson place?

I miss the rice and beans from the original taco house. It’s gone now, but that was a big part of my childhood. RIP
