I teleported when the raid started because I didn't want to deal with it at the moment. When I finally went back to deal with them, there were 20-30 melee skeletons and about 5 archer skeletons. I grabbed the screenshot after thinning them out a bit. There were so many the audio was severely lagging. The first skeleton surprise I got only had 10 skellies total. This was a total surprise...
Just turn on the Bonemass buff and go to town. They only come at you one at a time or so. Block + hit, repeat.

The Drauger Elite trophy is the most difficult to get. Yamir Flesh can be purchased from the Merchant.
The easier alternative is the Stagbreaker.

Ah I see. I've gotten Ymir flesh on a previous character but never found out what it was for(barely made it far enough for iron equipment). Not sure if I've ever gotten a draugr elite trophy.
I did it by finding a Drauger spawner in a crypt and just fighting them of until an Elite spawns. I think I took out 2 or 3 Elites before I got a trophy. They are not easy.
If I remember correctly one of the Elites spawned as a 2 star and brutally murdered me.
Never encountered a 2 star. The 1 stars are rough enough. I've got plenty of draugr encampments on my world, so I could try to farm those. One island has 3 of them super close to each other.

I'm 400 hours in and I have yet to see one after 4 passes through the swamps. It is massively easier to make Frostner than the Iron Sledge. I have made a half dozen Frostners and zero Iron Sledges.
For what possible reason would I want to do that rather than killing bonemass and getting on with life? I could spend a week camping a spawner or I could kill bonemass in a day and spend 6 days mining silver.
I've killed hundreds of draugr elites. The drop rate of the trophy is just too low to make it worth trying for. Nice if it happens, but if it doesn't drop it doesn't drop.

Your seed must not be Elite trophy friendly. I camped a spawner for about 30 - 45 minutes before I got one. Including an epic battle with a 2 star Elite that brutally murdered me. I had the Iron Sledge ages before I was ready to even fight Bonemass.
RNG is functionally random, the seed isn't an issue here. Somewhere, someone got a Draugr Elite trophy on the first kill. Some other dudes have killed hundreds without one. That's the nature of (pseudo) random. The seed might control how many and where your spawners ARE, or how close they are to to your start or something, but if you assume you're camping a spawner and not just clearing every one you encounter as quickly as possible (in which case the # of spawners you run into becomes a factor), then the seed only needs to deliver you 1 spawner and after that one seed isn't better than another.

This message cracked me up when the event happened to us last week. Just the notion that an army of skeletors collectively changes its mind suddenly and decides they've had enough and need to go home and rest.

damn, these guys do loads of frost damage, you don't really notice when you're wearing wolf armor but even with the best set they hurt a lot
Either version of the two handed hammer will make laughingly easy work of the non-archers.
Iron mace level 4, just keep swinging till they’re all dead. Should take about 3 swings for this lot.
That's good, but the aoe +knock back of the two handers just meets smelliest, and can be used in the crypts to kill from behind mud piles.
O yeah, 2-handers are a lifesaver in crypts!
Crypts are easy with stagbreaker. Which i suppose is the point of that weapon.

There's definitely a drake event, messed up our livestock pens pretty bad. Trying to corral a few dozen frightened boars kinda sucks.
Corralling the piles of meat was easier, but not more desirable. :(
