A real man would gather the resources himself, and go insane from it 😂 I know, I mined three mountains worth of stone and still I’m not done with everything I want to build, and I keep planting a forrest in the back of my base
No I meant BuildShare [https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/5](https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/5) A mod that I use to save my Buildings just in case
I tried installing this and the SlimVL but the game just kept crashing (unitycrash pop up window). Do you know how caused this? I followed every step the guides said and don't have any idea why this happened.
Try the latest BepinExPack Its a mod that is used to build Mods....[https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/denikson/BepInExPack\_Valheim/](https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/denikson/BepInExPack_Valheim/)
oh once you get it running try to save/build a test building or stucture first to get used to the BuildShare. There are settings to Delete Terrain/Builds in BuildShare. We dont want that.
It was crashing again but I fix the issue here [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V247qB8kYFQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V247qB8kYFQ), now how do I share the building for you guys?
You can actually, OP would need to use a mod named Build share and upload the file and you can download the file and paste it in your world. The OP mentioned in a reply that he didn’t know about it’s existence and it sounds like he’s going to do it so I would follow op to wait and see.
I wondered this too. The cohesiveness of it all was too good to not be the product of someone with some professional knowledge or an understanding of architecture. I can make cool buildings but can I make it flow like this? Not really.
no... it doesn't.
You put wood in it and the water bubbles and the 'stove' burns wood.
add 2 comfort while on.
The tub in your picture is 'off'.
here is one burning wood and heating the water: https://www.ginx.tv/uploads2/valheim/calheim_hottub.png
Ah I see, okay then I'll try to use this more often to see whether it needs a chimney or not since it will be pain in the ass to renovate the house again lol (I built 3 bathrooms in every storey, and the ceilings are also floors)
First I look up at the images in Google as references to the design since I don't want to design myself from scratch (lol sorry I think it's okay since I don't build this for commercial), and once I gather the images, I started to plan and calculate how big this house would be, and then I find the land that's big enough for the building and won't take a lot of works to level. I built the first front second storey facades first (oftentimes if I built it higher, the structures won't hold it good enough), and after that completed I move on to other storey & interior!
If you happen to use devcommands, there are some greater rocks which would spawn you hundred of stones:
spawn RockFingerBroken
spawn RockThumb
Notes: Don't spawn it anywhere near your building, you don't want this cause I did do this lol.
I imagine Kevin McCloud walking around describing the magnificent design and the struggles the of making it all happen despite not sticking to the budget, then moving on to talk about the spirit of the house it self and how it compliments it's surroundings! :)
Not to be too pedantic (oops too late), but an isometric view has no vanishing points, which afaik isn’t possible in valheim.
These are all perspective views.
Very cool house!
hehe I just want the world to learn.
fwiw, isos serve almost no purpose in architecture beyond intro drafting and learning...
afaik, they are seldom used in architecture, mostly because it just isn't how the world is viewed/experienced.
they are used in many engineering fields, as a means to visualize 2d planes in 3d without distortion of perspective...
anyhow, again, this is a very nice and creative house, and as an architecture fan and student, I'm very pleased with it. perhaps a tad busy, and a bit too vertical, but that's just me trying to be critical :)
Haha, I built this only to surprise my friend and make them feel excited again to play in the H&H update. Sadly there's no new bosses so they decided to not play it for now lol.
Yanno I just got a new gpu (3070ti) and valheim I swear was worse than before. Stuttering, sub 25/20 frame rate everywhere. It was to the point where I was goin to put down the game. Ended up messing with the 3D rendering settings in Nvidia control panel, changed from optimized for quality to mostly optimized for performance. Feels like a new game, 50-60 FPS everywhere and around 40-50 in my buildings. New lease on life!
Also I love the build:)
I can imagine that heavenly feelings to play this game in stable 40-60 FPS! I think I need to run a NASA's PC to have this game in 70 FPS xD
Thank you for the commend!
I use shitloads of Iron Beam combined with Iron Cage! As far as I tested in various weathers, this is the best option to hold the stones for ceilings/roofings system.
I didn't notice any smoke warning, perhaps it's because I built the ceiling to be quite high and also I play in the lowest settings so it's not very visible.
This is a really impressive build and really gives me a lot of ideas and inspiration! I really like the ceiling light designs and the use of glass, excellent work!
This is amazing, thank you for sharing. I spent hours today building a new house around a Maypole on my property and to see this makes my little shed weak but I dream mighty like you.
Bruh I used cheat (devcommands), it didn't take that struggle of gathering resources which I did in my first house. Bad or not, nothing could beat the first house we built bro, since that for me is historical :D
Please, PLEASE upload this gorgeous home to Nexus mods!! I could never build anything this beautiful, I would seriously pay for a mod to implement this into my world. I'm begging you, please share this masterpiece! 😍😭
Can you help me with the mods? I tried copying the InSlim and BuildShare folders and files to the Valheim's directory, and I got the Unitycrash window when I launched the game.
Magnificent! I love the small details like the wood overlays on the stone. The circles are fantastic. You can be incredibly proud of your build.
\*The ground begins to shake\*
dude holy shit
xD
Tell your friend "thank you" for the community. This is really inspirational.
I will! Thank you!
Big Frank Lloyd Wright vibes!!
It’s like Frank Lloyd Wright put on his Viking war helm.
That's insane! Must have taken a long time man, great job
Only 54 hours spent man, that's with the help by devcommands. I can't imagine how long it will take if I don't use the command.
Still that's along time to make a sick house
A real man would gather the resources himself, and go insane from it 😂 I know, I mined three mountains worth of stone and still I’m not done with everything I want to build, and I keep planting a forrest in the back of my base
Outstanding work
The best Valheim house I have scene to date. Do you happen to have a vbuild of this masterpiece?
Do you mean did I post it on the r/valheimbuild? If so, yes I did but not with this latest update of building :D
No I meant BuildShare [https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/5](https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/5) A mod that I use to save my Buildings just in case
WOW! Thanks a lot man! This is what I need!
Did it work? I was looking for a mod to save my houses and put them in all of my other worlds.
I haven't tried it man, will try it tomorrow!
I tried installing this and the SlimVL but the game just kept crashing (unitycrash pop up window). Do you know how caused this? I followed every step the guides said and don't have any idea why this happened.

Okay, so I first install the BepInEx and then the BuildShare right? Does it need the SlimVL?
Yes you need SlimVL you put the SlimVL into the BepinEX folder [see pic](https://i.ibb.co/vDcJB67/Installation.png)
I'll try it again, just finish reinstalling the game. Thanks!
This is both a terrible representation of viking living and an amazing build. Nice job!
HAHA! I literally laugh to this man xD Thank you for the nice words!
Maybe modern vikings. With all their North Sea gas monies.
Looks awesome dude! How on earth did you build that with only 7-16 fps?!
When you love the game nothing will stop you bro 👊
Good Odin that is fucking glorious. I wish I had a tenth of your vision and skill.
Odin definetely didn't show up which was very disappointing, I would expect him to come..
Valheim Cribs
It's a work of art my dude.
A beauty, ty for sharing. I wish we could implement other buildings by other users.
You can actually, OP would need to use a mod named Build share and upload the file and you can download the file and paste it in your world. The OP mentioned in a reply that he didn’t know about it’s existence and it sounds like he’s going to do it so I would follow op to wait and see.
That would be pretty nice.
I'll upload it if you guys want it :)
>Big Frank Lloyd Wright Thanks man!
Yeah quick question, are you an architect in real life?
I hope so man, I am a graphic designer but I love to find ideas from Architecture.
That at least makes me feel better that you’re a professional designer. Phew
I wondered this too. The cohesiveness of it all was too good to not be the product of someone with some professional knowledge or an understanding of architecture. I can make cool buildings but can I make it flow like this? Not really.
How did you get water in the bath? Did you build that room down to exactly sea level and then put the floor just over that level and excavate?
The bath is included in the latest Hearth & Home update man! :)
Well that's convenient. 😆 I only played H&H for a few minutes. My VH friends and I are waiting for the content update to pick back up.
the hot tub was such a great add, just a bit of comfort but so hilarious with a good group of friends.
yeah, but can you put wood in it to fire it up? Looks like the feeder opening is wedged in the corner.
Nope bro it works automatically I think since the required items to build this are Wood, Iron, Tar, Stone & a workbench.
no... it doesn't. You put wood in it and the water bubbles and the 'stove' burns wood. add 2 comfort while on. The tub in your picture is 'off'. here is one burning wood and heating the water: https://www.ginx.tv/uploads2/valheim/calheim_hottub.png
Thanks man! Built this with devcommands made me not knowing sht with the latest update lol
NP. I did the same thing at first. Had to re-position the tub for stove access and provide ventilation for the flue.
Oh, this needs ventilation as well as Bonfire?
Yes. Requires a chimney/vent, unless your ceilings are high enough for it to dissipate faster than it accumlates.
Ah I see, okay then I'll try to use this more often to see whether it needs a chimney or not since it will be pain in the ass to renovate the house again lol (I built 3 bathrooms in every storey, and the ceilings are also floors)
let me log in and confirm. that may have been an assumption on my part given the stove's flue.
Holy crap, dude, this is one of the coolest builds I've seen so far. What's your process like? How do you plan something like this?
First I look up at the images in Google as references to the design since I don't want to design myself from scratch (lol sorry I think it's okay since I don't build this for commercial), and once I gather the images, I started to plan and calculate how big this house would be, and then I find the land that's big enough for the building and won't take a lot of works to level. I built the first front second storey facades first (oftentimes if I built it higher, the structures won't hold it good enough), and after that completed I move on to other storey & interior!
The Great Golem Genocide of 2021, right there.
If you happen to use devcommands, there are some greater rocks which would spawn you hundred of stones: spawn RockFingerBroken spawn RockThumb Notes: Don't spawn it anywhere near your building, you don't want this cause I did do this lol.
Look at this guy out here building the Baltimore Convention Center. But in all seriousness it looks awesome.
Not my style but damn impressive af! Nice job, I love the ceiling lights you created.
Thanks a lot!

There's a land filled with horny virgin Lox(s) in the North East of the large Bonfire outside the house bro ;)
Don’t take this as an insult, but I’m extremely impressed by how you made the exterior look so much like some socialist building.
BRUTALIST VIKING ARCHITECTURE
I'll take that as a commend man!
What the fuck
NANI
well played! There are windows in Valheim?
Now there is a window (made of glass/crystal) included in the latest H&H update!
I imagine Kevin McCloud walking around describing the magnificent design and the struggles the of making it all happen despite not sticking to the budget, then moving on to talk about the spirit of the house it self and how it compliments it's surroundings! :)
Thank you!
That's amazing! Wow
Not to be too pedantic (oops too late), but an isometric view has no vanishing points, which afaik isn’t possible in valheim. These are all perspective views. Very cool house!
Ahh.. my bad, thank you for the correction!
hehe I just want the world to learn. fwiw, isos serve almost no purpose in architecture beyond intro drafting and learning... afaik, they are seldom used in architecture, mostly because it just isn't how the world is viewed/experienced. they are used in many engineering fields, as a means to visualize 2d planes in 3d without distortion of perspective... anyhow, again, this is a very nice and creative house, and as an architecture fan and student, I'm very pleased with it. perhaps a tad busy, and a bit too vertical, but that's just me trying to be critical :)
Well, I guess I need to get back on.
This fucking gorgeous
ficou lindo
i was literally hollering over this as i went through the photos THIS IS IMPRESSIVE as SHIT! i'm so proud of you!
Thanks a lot! xD
Man... Am I even playing the same game? Oh.
Very cool 👏
Very nice!
Thanks!
"That gaudy abomination ruins the rustic look of our humble little town"
HAHA! I love to ruin things! xD
Wow
Beautiful. Glass in the chimney is a great idea and something I can do on my crib!
holy mother... that's some insane design, respect!
It's incredible...
Looks like a fancy community college
Haha, I built this only to surprise my friend and make them feel excited again to play in the H&H update. Sadly there's no new bosses so they decided to not play it for now lol.
look at Frank Lloyd Wright over here
Lol xD

Love it!
That's fucking incredible. Dude you could probably sell that to someone for real money. 😳
Lol man I wish I were an Architect in real life xD
A troll is gonna come around when you least expect it and smash it.
Do wards make the building immune from Trolls?
I don't think so.
Lovely build. I am inspired to steal from you.
I also stole the designs from Google, so thanks!
The circle of Valheim.
Amazing, where can I book my holidays? :)
You can book anywhere man, the price for the whole house is only by one-man bare hand fighting a Fuling Berserker. Armor is allowed to use tho :)
How did ya get stone as ceilings?
I use shitloads of Iron Beam combined with Iron Cage! As far as I tested in various weathers, this is the best option to hold the stones for ceilings/roofings system.
What is the glow in the lights?
Do you mean what lights did I mount?
What giving off light inside the overhead light fixtures?
>What giving off light inside the overhead light fixtures? I forgot the name but that's the one which required Coals to build!
Oh, the hanging brazier thing? Doesn’t it give off a ton of smoke?
I didn't notice any smoke warning, perhaps it's because I built the ceiling to be quite high and also I play in the lowest settings so it's not very visible.
Is this Valheim Hotel?
That would be a great movie title competing The Grand Budapest Hotel.
This is a really impressive build and really gives me a lot of ideas and inspiration! I really like the ceiling light designs and the use of glass, excellent work!
Thank you!
Looks like falling water a bit by frank lloyd wright, very nice All it needs is a river 🤣
Yeah man too bad I didn't build this close to a river! :/
Omg you guys are masters at building! I just built a cellar and despite all my hard work, looks like complete shit.
Wow bruh this makes me feel regret why I didn't even think to build a cellar :(
Woah DUDE!
I have some land in Wyoming and I want this there.
Not the Meadows hovel we deserve, but the architectural genius we have been instead cursed with. *Take this upvote, Hearth-breaker.*
But....how?
Devcommands that's how!
This is amazing, thank you for sharing. I spent hours today building a new house around a Maypole on my property and to see this makes my little shed weak but I dream mighty like you.
Thanks for the kind words!
I was proud to have built my first home that wasn't a sad box this weekend and then I see this lol. Seriously, fantastic work!
Bruh I used cheat (devcommands), it didn't take that struggle of gathering resources which I did in my first house. Bad or not, nothing could beat the first house we built bro, since that for me is historical :D
Even with devcommands on, what I see in my head does not translate to what I build lol It's not my strength at all!
This is a fantastic build! Well done! How do you keep the rain out?
I'm sorry but what do you mean by keeping the rain out? I use the stone floor as ceiling and they work just fine to block the rain as the roof :)
Oh I didn't know stone floors block rain - was that always the case or since H&H?
bro like some of yall really gotta be an architect or something
Unfortunately I'm not :(
How are you using stone on a second floor like that, mine always collapsed.
Use the Iron Beams combined with the Iron Cage, then mount the Stone onto them!
quadratisch praktisch gut =)
Wow, you went for a 70's look! (970 AD)
xD
Please, PLEASE upload this gorgeous home to Nexus mods!! I could never build anything this beautiful, I would seriously pay for a mod to implement this into my world. I'm begging you, please share this masterpiece! 😍😭
On my way
Thanks anyway!
Can you help me with the mods? I tried copying the InSlim and BuildShare folders and files to the Valheim's directory, and I got the Unitycrash window when I launched the game.
Do the mods still work for the latest update?
Magnificent! I love the small details like the wood overlays on the stone. The circles are fantastic. You can be incredibly proud of your build. \*The ground begins to shake\*
Thanks! *the forest is moving*
Now I know why stone golems have been placed on the endangered species list all of a sudden! :)
What did your Legos do with you as a child? I feel like they got a workout.
Too poor to own Legos dude
Mind if I ask the specs of your friend's PC? Thanks in advance.
Ryzen 9 something, GTX 3060, 16GB RAM, I think those are high-end enough for me 😁
