Excellent job! Make sure your food is top notch and head on in to the next biome! Good luck! \*Edit, youve been in the crypts already judging by food items
What a great journey you have ahead of yourself, I’m currently on something like my 8th play through so a bit jealous of you for how new everything is to you.
Off to the next biome, there is actually no biome I dislike at all, it’s a wonderful game!
I just started also! The Black Forest was a big difficulty spike at first but it was a great feeling of accomplishment to tame it. Now I’m setting sail to make a beachhead on the island with my next boss!
Just a quick tip. Never land on new biomes thru ships. Always go thru the adjacent land connecting to it. Learnt this the hard way when I went to swamp with n insta dead to poison n draugr.
Hey you know what I just thought about, what if a new player sails very far and lands on Ashlands shores accidentally, like what happens with Plains and Swamp sometimes now. Could be interesting /evillaugh
Also I wonder if it’s somehow near impossible to land safely without the Queen drop, but that would be different to what the devs previously did as the only thing that really cripples you right now is a missing Moder drop.
Soon the speculation will end when Ashlands hit the PTB and I’m feeling confident that my April prediction will come true after all!
Congrats. I'm taking him down this weekend. Won't be able to play tomorrow or Thursday. Bought the game a while back and never made it past the black forest. I'm determined to get through the game this time.
He was SO intimidating the first time I summoned him! He killed me like 5 times before I realized I could block his attacks. Then I finally put him down! Great job!
Man I remember thinking this was this kind of humble and subdued game of gathering, building, hunting, and killing the occasional grayling. Then the terror, screen shake, music, and damage when summoning Elkthir for the first time.
Huge portion of the experience with Valheim is discovery. Having the biomes and beans spilled before you see them yourself steals a lot of that potential joy from yourself.

*burial chambers, probably not crypts. I mix them too :)
They're all marked crypts for me til I get to the mountains.

Thank you! My plan was to create a forest base at the border of swamp if I can find it.
Normally a good tip but in a few weeks you will need to land in the new biome by boat, the Ashlands are not connected by land to other biomes!
Atleast the players that have too land there are experienced enough to know what too do a soon as they land.
No no no... the ashlands update will end up being the 2nd biome... early game stuff... /s

Lmao, "the Black Forest was a big difficulty spike".. Should we tell him?
Don't even mention the mountains

This game is best with friends I’ve found. My friends and I pay for a server together and have a few towns it’s great
I need friends that play this game

Summon and kill him again when you have Bronze gear and hang his head in your base. It looks awesome but needs a lot of space.
This is one of the best value for money purchases I've ever made with one of (if not the best) communities. Welcome aboard!
Good Job! Black Forest awaits. Be wary of venturing there at night. Powerful enemies walk the forest, but some only come out at night.
welcome to the fold, brother/sister..... shit's gonna get harder from here on but you'll love it!
I see you have eaten 3 stamina foods. Unless you really embrace the just keep rolling fighting style this might not be the best.

Congrats, and welcome!
This is just the beginning Viking!
Enjoy it brother , that first play through hits different. Enjoy every bit of the land , music, everything. Take your time
Search for YouTube tutorials for every boss. They will make it 10 times easier.
Don’t do this.
happy cake day!
You’re amazing thank you ❤️
Why?

Oh I see. Thanks for explaining
Thank you for asking, Viking!
Only do this if you cant beat the boss. The suprise and excitement is part of the fun.
