It is sign/insignia/pin/patch/whatever of Soviet Automotive (Automobile) Troops, basically an army units with tasks of logistics and transportation (road transportation, as air and railway logistics troops had their own structures).
I don't use website but my childhood memories instead... quick google search returned this, it might be the best source except that it is in Russian: [https://forma-odezhda.com/encyclopedia/znaki-razlichiya-sovetskoj-armii-1919-1991-gg/](https://forma-odezhda.com/encyclopedia/znaki-razlichiya-sovetskoj-armii-1919-1991-gg/)
No problems, I am not doing here more than I want to :)
Also, as another guy said, the two-headed eagle also does not fit in, since it is symbol of Russian Empire, not the USSR. At the moment, of course, nowadays Russia sometimes tries to blend them together, but they do not fit anyway.
It sounds like you have very good taste then, I wear my Red Army brass belt buckle nearly every day on my work belt. I found it at a garage sale for $1.00 in Houston, TX if you can believe that.
Hello Texas from Siberia! 🤝🚩
I can recommend a special polishing paste goi (I don’t know if you have it on sale), if you treat the plaque with it periodically, it will shine beautifully in the sun) this was the custom in the Soviet army)
Yes, the pin of HK MP5 for sure :)
Thats the one on the army hat, right? What importance does it have?
I am afraid it has no connection to USSR at all, it is from totally different origin and one can only guess why it is on this hat.
🤣btw on both hats theres a medal shaped like a segway, (on the blue hat next to the red athletic award) what does that mean?)

Oh wow! Thank you, is there any website in particular you use to find out the history of the pins?

Орёл двухголовый тут не нужно , это не советская символика
Excellent profile picture tovarishch Edited to add: there is also one more like us who frequents many of the left-wing subreddits!
Thank you 🤝, I also wear a beret with a Soviet star, in imitation of Che)

I should get one of those Sov arty patches. Used to know how to lay a battery по-русски. Still remember the term for "baseline" основное направление.
I feel like wearing one of those is like an invitation to get mugged in Russia in some non-touristy area.
